This plique a jour pendant is centered with an oval white opal and accented with eight colorless brilliants. The dropper is a fresh water pearl. The translucent enamel is an unusual and lovely blue in color.

Huge and bold, vintage sterling " Armadillo " belt buckle by Hector Aguilar. It consists of 5 panels held together by rivets and measures a very impressive 6 1/4" by 2 3/4". A mid century modernist pendant by the American studio jeweler, Paul Miller. This piece is constructed of 2 layers of contrasting oxidized and polished sterling with a curved wire overlay. One end of the wire ends in a silver 'pearl', the other end becomes the bale.

Natural Bohemian garnets are featured in this antique pin. Two round elements are made up of three tiers of rich red rose-cut garnets. Each garnet circle is surrounded by a row of tiny rose-cut garnets. Suspended from these elements are three droppers featuring more garnets, round and marquise in shape. These droppers add eye-catching motion to the piece when it is worn. All of the gems are beautifully prong set.
The pin is unmarked but is silver and is 1 ¼” wide...
A vintage pair of figural screw back earrings attributed to Ex-pat Ken Beldin in copper and patinated brass. Screw backs are marked Silver Mexico.
Measure 2 3/8" long including the screw back top and 7/8" at the widest. Screw backs hold securely. They have some areas of tarnish. There are a lot of scratches on the back but we're not sure we see a signature.

A beautiful tufa cast ring with mosaic inlay of various stones including turquoise and coral by Harold Lovato of Santo Domingo Pueblo. Fit for a museum, this rare and wonderful Egyptian Revival pin has a portrait painted on porcelain. It is mounted in 800 silver and surrounded by 16 coral beads on wire. There have been some repairs [not visible from the front] as is so common in jewelry repaired in the 19th century. 1 1/4" diameter. Circa 1875.

This striking design was created by Taxco, Mexico modernist Antonio Pineda in the 1950's. 20 brilliant tigers eye stones are set into 970 sterling frames. Silver rods tipped with beautifully matched pearls & 2 with silver are interspersed. The central element measures 3 3/4" across & 2 3/4" long at the center. The silver tipped velvet cord measures 29" long. Weighing 70 grams the necklace is in exquisite condition.
A vintage modernist silver necklace with a large central pendant by the master sculptor and artist from Ecuador, Oswaldo Guayasamin.
The central pendant measures 2 3/4" long and 3/4" wide. Also measures 3/4" deep. The pendant has a textured front surface and polished sides and back. The pendant has an additional silver squiggle with what looks like onyx beads suspended in front of the textured surface. It moves independently.

A vintage hand made Arts and Crafts period hammered silver pendant by Albert Kahlbrandt, (1878-1961), Hamburg, Germany.
Possibly 800 silver, there is a tiny touch mark on the front near the top.
Pendant measures 2 1/4" long and 1 1/2" across. Marked Handarbeit, Kahlbrandt and Hamburg and the number 8. Mark is partially obscured by extra solder, not sure why it is there.
Chain measures 10" long on each side. Has a spring clasp that holds securely.

I could never exaggerate the sparkle of the two big, faceted color-change sapphires that adorn the opposing “wings” forming the face of the modernist Enrique Ledesma Mexican hinged bracelet at hand! Set here against untreated sterling (quite often, Ledesma uses niello-type oxidation to enhance the contrast between gemstone and silver) the stones pass from amethyst to a steely purple under different light conditions thus mimicking the behavior of alexandrites. A visit to Maisel’s Trading Post was de rigueur for tourists visiting New Mexico before the store closed in the late 1960s after Mr. Maisel’s death. (It was later reopened in 1980 by a grandson, but closed again in 2019.) Tourists flocked to the store, which featured an open lower-level gallery where Native American artists crafted the jewelry and artifacts sold above. Maisel’s was a splendid entertainment and a source of excellent jewelry.

Bold and striking long sterling earrings designed by Karl Gustav Hansen for Hans Hansen of Denmark. These earrings are from the "Future" line of jewelry manufactured by Hans Hansen between 1932 and 1948. They hang 2 3/4" long, are 3/4" wide at the bottoms and are screw backs. Weighing 11 grams total, they are in fine original condition. A fabulous Modernist design.
A beautifully made sterling bracelet of concave tear drop shaped links by Danish Modernist Bent Knudsen. The bracelet clasp has one of his ingenious screw bolt clasps. Measuring 7 1/2" end to end, it is 5/8" wide and weighs 75 grams. Fine original condition and signed and numbered as shown. A wonderful Danish Modernist design.
Ca 1960 A pierced sterling malachite and gold tumi that may be worn as a pendant or brooch. The tumi tests 18k, and it is marked 925 on the bale. The malachite has a few flea bites but they're only evident with magnification and bright light. 1-1/8" square.Weight 10.5grams.

Bold high-set modernist crystal ring by Swedish designer Gison Liedholm. The setting makes quite a statement, soaring a full 3/4" above the band. Made in the middle of the 20th Century. Wonderfully designed cuff bracelet by Henry Steig, a well known Modernist jewelry designer working in New York City in the 1950s. In 1950 he opened a New York City shop at 51st and First, and a summer store in Provincetown, Massachusetts. In 1955 he moved his NYC shop to 52nd and Lexington. Listed Glendale artist Mary Owens was known for paintings, but she also made jewelry during her career. She died several years ago, and this figural pendant brooch was purchased directly from her estate. It was one of her personal pieces which she made for herself, circa 1950s. Large, at 3" tall. Unsigned but will come with a certificate of authenticity from the City of Glendale's Brand Library, which conducted the sale. Excellent vintage condition.
