How often does one find a ring by renowned Taxco modernist Enrique Ledesma? Let me answer my question - almost never! An early Coro Art Deco era sterling silver marcasites drop design necklace from the 1920s 1930. This angular Industrial Art Deco beauty is 17-3/4" long in the lavaliere type with a main center drop. It has a spring-ring clasp, the central drop is 1" deep and it is stamped STERLING CORO. The bright flower in the centre of the beautiful if severe lines is a nice romantic touch. A fine and rare example of Italian space age jewelry

This interesting handmade pin is composed of thin interwoven silver rods that evoke an unfinished piece of textile. It is sturdy and the secure pin stem and clasp are applied so as to wear the piece on a diagonal. On the back is an applied plaque bearing the mark for Mexico and 925 for sterling, and an unidentified serpentine mark that looks to have been struck twice. The piece is possibly from the 1960s or early 1970s. It measures 2 inches by 2 inches square. Weight: 21.2 grams

A vintage sterling silver orchid brooch by Hector Aguilar.

Signed with the conjoined HA, Taxco and 940 for better than sterling silver. Pre Eagle, (pre 1949).

Measures 2 1/4" across and 2" high. Has a rollover safety clasp that holds securely. The brooch has a beautiful, warm patina.

This is a spectacular set of necklace, pin, and earrings which were produced 1930's - early 1940's in Mexico. The design is one which originated from Fred Davis, and also one which is very seldom seen. This set does not bear the FD mark from Davis, but is simply hallmarked "Silver Made in Mexico"...

Distinctly Egyptian Revival in its inspiration, the set of Mexican Deco dangle earrings at hand reminds me very much of elements in Margot de Taxco's "Cleopatra" parure; more specifically, the feathers of the "vulture crown" the pharaoh is wearing. More stylized in our case they are here involved in an elaborate knot forming sculptural dangles that hang off the sweetest repousse rosettes...

Being offered is an early circa 1945 sterling silver bracelet by William Spratling, of Taxco, Mexico; pin hinged bracelet with carved wood and silver pyramids; supported by a pin closure and security chain. Dimensions: 1 3/8 inches wide. Size 6 1/2-6 5/8”. No monogram. Marked as illustrated in photo. In excellent condition. This iconic bracelet is often illustrated in many books. Stupendous, mint condition bracelet.

Spratling's Nahui Ollin cuff is often found in a large mens size but this rare one is sized for a woman, is comfortable and will not shake off in movement. It is heavy at 151 grams of high content silver. The amethyst are a gorgeous grape color with no chips or damage. The gap is .75 inches with a diameter of 2 3/8th inches. With a dramatic face front that is 2.25 in. tall the presence is outstanding . One of my favorite designs with thick hand chased details.

This mid-century bracelet by Antonio Pineda is unique and unusual. And a real stunner. It reminds me of a tiara, or a crown. Tipped with nine pearls, executed in 970 silver, it's a heavy and substantial hand-wrought showpiece. Hinged at both sides to open wide and easily fit over the wrist, closure is a tight and secure tongue in box. Collector quality. Closed, wearable length is 6 3/4"...
