A heavy Mexican sterling silver necklace. This vintage 14-1/4" long Mexican .925 silver choker necklace is from the 1970s. This necklace consists of triple segmented trapezoidal 5/8" wide sections with wire loop links. It has a box clasp and it is stamped STERLING HECHO EN MEXICO DF 925 with an H maker's mark. Of flexible and hand-wrought construction with bezel mounted teal ceramic oval pieces at the terminals. The band shows a warm patina with some roughness under the edge near one end. The outer band shows either a partially obscured mark for sterling or a maker’s mark. It has an 8-inch inner circumference, and is 3/16 inch wide.

An unusual link bracelet composed of delicate openwork panels. The box clasp is secure and is engraved with script initials of FW. The back of one panel shows the Swedish silver mark, an unidentified maker’s or town mark and the mark for .835 silver. The clasp is secure and comes with an attached safety chain. The bracelet measures 8 inches long by 9/16 inches wide. Weight: 16.5 grams

A clean, modernist design characterizes this ring, which is composed of a graduated rounded sterling band inset with an irregularly shaped piece of teak or rosewood. It mostly likely dates from the late 1960s to mid-1970s. There is an unidentified triangular mark on the outer band. The ring tests strongly for silver, and is probably European. It is sized a 6 1/4. Gross weight: 4.7 grams

Rectangular, curved panels with raised decoration of stylized berry-like, long-stemmed flowers and leaves, on a textured background. The screw backs are attached with thick solder, and are marked sterling. Each earring measures approximately 5/8 inch by 3/8 inch. Weight: 4.9 grams total

An irregular shaped piece of amber is mounted in a handmade bezel. The mounting is decorated with hand-applied silver biomorphic protrusions. The bailbears the Krakow mark for .916 silver, with an additional mark indicating added metal, although all of the metal tests as silver. The pendant measures 2 ½ inches long, including the bail and jump ring, and 1 3/8 inches wide.

This vintage & versatile 940 sterling silver "clipped incised coin" necklace was designed and signed circa 1940-45 by Taxco, Mexico artist Hector Aguilar. These 1960s Scandinavian earrings have distinctive, lacy frames, each set with a cabochon carnelian in a bezel mounting. The clip backs are marked S925 and are original; the earrings are probably Danish. The earrings measure ½ inch wide.

Composed of nine panels with a horizontal raised design on a highly oxidized background. It is marked 925 for sterling silver and has a secure box clasp. The bracelet measures 7 inches long by ½ inch wide. Weight: 20.9 grams

A reticulated sterling silver pendant of geometric elements and elongated bale, suspended from an .830 silver chain. Both bear the marks of H.C. Østrem of Drammen; it's very unusual to find a pendant by this maker with its original chain. The script maker's mark also is not often seen. The entire necklace measures15 inches long with the chain doubled, including the 3-inch-long pendant. Weight: 23.6 grams, total

These rocking horse earrings have to be Los Castillo's most endearing design and it is also rare. The weight is 14 grams of repousse. I took a side shot so you could see the depth and dimension these beauties have. They are 1in. tall and 1 1/8th of an inch wide. A fantastic set for a collectors jewel box.

This silver pendant, of abstract design, is randomly decorated with cabochon carnelians. The back exhibits two bails to string a chain through. There is a partial maker’s mark on the reverse and possibly two other marks. The pendant tests silver, and could be European. It measures 2 ¾ inches wide by 2 inches long. Gross weight: 26.4 grams

Reminiscent of the Renaissance Revival style, these intricately decorated earrings are set with central chrysoprase cabochons surrounded by faceted green glass stones. The earrings test as silver, date somewhere around 1930-1950, and are most likely .800 silver. Modern sterling silver posts have replaced screw back closures that were marked ‘SIL.’ Each earring measures ½ inch across and about ¼ inch deep.

This simple but sophisticated ring features a lovely, polished dyed blue chalcedony is securely prong set in a sterling silver mount. The setting displays openwork shoulders with light embossing. The inside of the band is marked sterling and shows an unidentified maker’s mark. The stone exhibits no scratches or other signs of wear. The stone measures stone 7/8 inch long by 5/8 inch wide. The ring is a size 5 ¼.
