Exquisite hand made sterling sculpture, finished on front and back. This art pendant shows a nude man riding an animal(ibex?)holding a rope or ring in his hand by E. Silbert, c.1960's. It is rare to see jewelry sculpted on front and back. It is signed "E. SILBERT STERLING" and measures 2 1/2" high by 1 3/8" wide. Ring is used to hold chain. Excellent condition. A Fine Natural Baltic Amber necklace made from amber found on the the North Sea coast of Jutland, the west coast of Denmark. Opaque egg yolk / butterscotch colouring with a few smaller beads more redish colour. Olive shape beads. Largest bead 25 mm to the smallest 6 mm. Length: 55 cm. Weight: 34 g From around 1930. Condition: Great antique condition, a few beads show small chips near the thread holes due to use. The silver clasp is a later replacement.

This pin features a dynamic abstract design comprised of an elongated piece of amber set in a similarly shaped silver frame. A silver wire applied to the back surrounds the piece evokes a ‘space-age’ sense of movement. The pin is marked 835 on the back for silver content; the mark is accompanied by an impressed abstract fish, probably for the Fischland workshop of Georg and Walter Kramer. The pin measures 2 ½ inches long by about ¾ inch at its widest part.

A rare modernist sterling silver cuff bracelet with a ruffled layer by the California jeweler and sculptor, Florence Resnikoff. She was the director of the Jewelry and Metal Arts Program at the California College of the Arts and a founding member of the Metal Arts Guild in San Francisco.

Etched with a cursive Florence behind the ruffle.

Measures approximately 5 1/4" around with an opening of 1 1/4". Probably better for a slim wrist. Can be worn with the ruffled part up or down...

An amazing hand made sterling silver modernist heavy cuff bracelet adorned with an inlay of shell by the renown Israeli jeweler, Rachel Gera.

Measures 5 3/4" around with an opening of about 1 1/4". This cuff is rigid and has no give. Also measures 2 1/2" at the widest.

Signed on the back on a cartouche Rachel Gera and 925. Also hand signed Gera.

Fine condition. Has a little indentation around the shell and some tarnish. Heavy and substantial. Better for a larger wrist...

Large handmade mixed metals(gold and silver) modernist pin with blue oval chalcedony(1 1/4" by 7/8"), c.1960's. The stone is bezel set off center. The design consists of positive and negative space, as shown with applied dimensional gold and silver geometric pieces versus handcut holes. Pin has substantial weight and measures a VERY LARGE 2 5/8" IN DIAMETER. Very rich with a high level of artistry and original design...

Drop sterling, onyx, cornelain, and marcasites art deco earrings, c.1940's. They each measure 2" long and are signed "925". In perfect condition, except there is one missing marcasite. Handmade sterling silver keychain or watch fob designed (1940's) and signed by Taxco, Mexico artist Hector Aguilar (1905-1986). Belt slide is 1 1/2" X 1". Sterling chain is 17" long. 1.7 oz., 48 grams. Sterling key holder opens and closes perfectly. No dents or dings. Applied initials can be easily removed. Beautiful repousse' work in this elegant design by William Spratling brings the piece to life. Weighing 23 grams and measuring 3" x 2" the brooch was designed as a dress or fur clip. Spratling designed this piece in a few different sizes. For comparison see the 4" x 3 1/2" example also listed on our site. All in beautiful condition with excellent patina. The larger size is included in the permanent collection of 20th century Mexican silver at LACMA.

Being offered is a circa 1963 sterling silver necklace by Los Ballesteros of Taxco, Mexico, boasting a modern biomorphic design. Dimensions wearable 15 1/2”, 1 3/4" at its widest. Marked. In excellent condition. Necklace is solid silver, not hollow, and weighs a heavy 4 ozs. Los Ballesteros is one of the great Mexican silversmiths.

A sterling silver hand wrought necklace with a central fringe of molten, drippy dangles by the mid century modernist studio jeweler, Ruth Berridge, (1921-2004). The necklace measures about 17 1/4" long, and the longest drop is 1 1/2". Marked Berridge in three places on the back of the drops. There are two hooks on the snake chain that hold securely. Fine condition. This piece is from her estate. Amazing work from a gifted artist.

This unusual silver lariat necklace draws on its Nordic roots with a twisted, notched spike at each end in the Viking manner. It is quite a versatile design and a sophisticated look; the strands can be knotted or draped, worn long or doubled. The chain itself is composed of doubled links, each with two perpendicular rings. The chain has a yet-unidentified maker’s mark, with a Norwegian silver mark of 830S. From end to end, the necklace measures about 46 ¼ inches long, including the terminals...

This one piece sterling silver buckle would be stunning on a black velvet sash! It was made by Unger Bros in the early 20th century. The ornamental design is a classic scroll and acanthus. The buckle is 4 1/4" x 2 1/2". Marks are 925 (sterling) and the Unger Bros markIt is in excellent condition.

Inspired by an ancient Aztec or Maya eagle head glyph this set of Antonio Pineda cufflinks were crafted in the maestro’s favorite, .970 silver alloy. Overlay and oxidation are used here to convey the bird’s of prey features, fearsome by default yet a little bit on the cartoonish side as well, if I am allowed the comparison… Measuring approx...
