Strong, unique & one of his most desirable creations this 970 sterling silver cuff was designed & signed in the 1950's by Taxco, Mexico artist Antonio Pineda (1919-2009). This cuff will comfortably fit up to a 6 1/2" wrist. The back opening is 1 1/8". The largest of the 7 disks measures 1 1/2" across. Weight 80 grams. Beautiful condition & patina. This rare Fred Davis bracelet features Amethyst cabochon stones set in links of ornate silver repousse. Circa 1930, it is included in the book Mexican Silver on page 27, plate II-11.
