They are stamped HANDMADE STERLING on the backs, no other marks, and the gilding that remains has a rose gold colour, which was very popular in the 1930s -early 1940s...
A museum quality oval pendant signed Benevidez (Johnny) and Tim Yazzie Sterling. Possibly a piece by both men who are Santo Domingo/Navajo artists. The Tim Yazzie mark is not typical however if one searches the web, one can find similar pieces created by both men.
Silver overlay designs highlight the intricately cut lapis,onyx and turquoise stones. A solid pendant, it
measures 3-1/4 x 1-1/2" and weighs a hefty 49gr. The sterling collar has a hook clasp and is marked TS 91 Taxco 925.

The bracelet measures 7 3/4" long by 1 1/8" wide. It closes by inserting a pin through interlocking cylinders. The bracelet is marked on the back Victoria, Taxco, Mexico, Sterling, and Style #53. This is the heavier and wider version of the bracelet.

A large pair of 18K yellow gold Sputnik earrings by H Stern. The domes are bezel-set with round amethysts, citrines, aquamarines, peridots, green tourmalines, pink tourmalines and garnets. The Sputnik design was created in the 1950’s to highlight the range of colored gemstones available from Stern’s Brazilian mines. It later came to be called “Sputnik” for its resemblance to the spiky Soviet satellite launched in 1957...

These stylish 14Kt yellow gold cabochon emerald and diamond earrings date back to the 1950-s. The 6 millimeter cabochon emeralds in the center are prong set and each earring is decorated on the edge by six single-cut diamonds. The approximate total weight of the two emeralds is 2.5 Ct and the twelve diamonds approximate weight is 0.18 Ct. The earrings have omega (clip) backs, but a post can be added on request.
A nice pair of late Edwardian 14K yellow gold double-faced cufflinks, each face centering an oval blue sapphire cabochon surrounded by engine-turned engracing. The sapphires have deep blue coloring. The back of one cufflink is engraved "Linked with fondest memories" and the other completes the inscription with "To J.M. from R.M. 1919." The connectors are stamped "14K" and have the maker's mark for Wordley, Allsopp & Bliss.
This exquisite ring has great Navajo detail adorned with large opals and lapis. The workmanship is excellent. It is truly a remarkable piece. The ring is a size 7. It measures 2 " x 1 1/4" There is a maker's mark on the back that I cannot decipher. It has good heft and is in excellent condition.
An extraordinarily fine and rare Art Nouveau sporting brooch featuring an enameled fox head superimposed over a horseshoe, a riding crop and a whip. The horseshoe is set with old mine cut diamonds simulating the nails. The fox's eyes are set with rubies. The pin is beautifully enameled in lifelike colors. The fox's mouth is open to show fierce jagged gold teeth...
Brooch in the style of Pal Kepenyes, bronze and black enamel. Kepenyes, a sculptor of Hungarian origin, moved to Mexico in the 1960’s. His jewelry is in the rough or “brutalist” style of the time. Unreadable signature near the pin needle. Width "1 ¾ / 4.6 cm. Condition: fine.
This Fred Davis is properly signed and 15.5 inches long and will catch your eye when walking by. The amethyst stones are berry colored and bright. Even harder to find are nice well formed bezels. The necklace makes a presence with a height of 1 inch. There is no damage or repairs. I will include a safety chain if you prefer to wear it longer. A beautifully executed pin that features a bezel-mounted oval dyed green chalcedony or chrysoprase, surrounded by a layer of leafy flowers and berries. This layer is composed of cast pieces individually applied to a serpentine wirework frame reminiscent of late arts and crafts design; dating would be 1930s or 1940s.
