I don't use the term "rare" very often when presenting my jewelry yet in this case, I just had to! An extremely desirable pair of of Edwardian 14K yellow gold double-sided cufflinks set with reverse-carved Essex crystals depicting American birds, retailed by Abercrombie & Fitch. The faces have beautifully rendered depictions of a ruffed grouse, a sandpiper, a standing mallard duck, and a mallard duck in flight. Each of the birds is brilliantly colored and set against a mother-of-pearl background...

Lush vintage angelskin or salmon coral beaded necklace with a 14KT white gold engraved slide clasp. Circa 1930. Clasp is marked 14K. The color is warmer than the photos depict. The beads range in size from 6 mm to 3 mm. The shortest strand (wearable length) is 16 inches and the longest strand is 20 inches. The center drops about 2 1/2 inches. Excellent condition. A possible early unsigned Chanel in black glass, brass and with a glass faux pearl in the center of the pendant, this piece is marked MADE IN FRANCE on the back of the pendant. Circa 1935. An 18K yellow gold and platinum brickwork strap and buckle ring by J. E. Caldwell. The buckle and the tongue of the strap are worked in platinum and set with round brilliant-cut diamonds. The diamonds are graded as H/I color and VS clarity. The buckle is fully functional, so the ring can be adjusted from size 2 to 8. This style of ring was popular in the Retro period, but only Caldwell, Tiffany and few other luxury makers crafted them with adjustable mechanisms such as this...

This necklace is featured in many books on Mexican Silver and is a fine example of this style.

Early & rare this vintage sterling silver, turquoise and coral bracelet was designed circa 1930-48 by Matilde Poulat. The dove (palomas)at the center is raised so it appears to be inflight. Poulat signed her designs Matl, a variation on the Aztec word for water...

A pair of vintage sterling silver cufflinks by Hermes. The double baton faces are engraved in a tree bark motif and are connected by chains. Each cufflink is signed “Hermes†and bears appropriate French silver marks. They are also stamped with the silversmith’s hallmark. This is an early design that hasn't been in production in 80 years or more.
