Straddling the divide between Aesthetic and Arts and Crafts design, this hinged sterling silver buckle bracelet was, I believe, made in the USA based on its hallmarking. The entire surface of the front "wing" is etched with ivy leaves, a motif beloved by the Victorians it seems, while the back is left blank, as is usually the case with bracelets of this type...

We have a Hector Aguilar cuff to offer today that is one of my favorite designs to wear. The silver is thick and is 1.5in. tall. The quality is further shown with a weight of 110 grams. Inside diameter is 2.25in. and can be professionally sized to fit if needed. The silver is deeply chased. On each side of the gap is a taller swirl than the width of the band giving it beauty all the way to it's ends. A collectors must have and all who desire a show stopper.

A striking Modernist take on a traditional 18K gold floral brooch. The stark thorn-like arrangement, enhanced with Akoya pearls, has an almost brutalist style. The gold surfaces are stippled to create a matte texture that contrasts with the polished gold of the small ribbon at the base. The pearls are nice quality with ivory body color. The brooch looks equally stylish worn as a pendant. The back is stamped "18K" and has an unidentified maker's mark.

Gorgeous vintage French long necklace in goldtone metal with frosted poured glass beads, engraved chain, long fluted beads, small crimped beads, and rhinestone rondelles, with spring ring clasp. 1960s or 1970s. Modernism at it's best, this 970 silver & inlaid shell bracelet was designed & signed c. 1950's by Taxco, Mexico artist Antonio Pineda (1919-2009). Measuring 1 1/2" high at the front with a wearable interior length of 6 3/4", the bracelet weighs 86 grams & is in beautiful condition. The slide in clasp & safety chain are tight & secure. A modernist sterling silver cuff bracelet from Denmark, designed by Knud V. Andersen for Anton Michelsen.

The cuff is made from thick sterling with a molten like texture. Measures 6" around with an opening of 1". Measures 1 1/8" at the widest. This size can not be adjusted.

Marked 925S, KVA, Danmark and with the AM hallmark of Anton Michelsen. Note that Denmark is spelled Danmark, so not originally for export.

Fine condition, dark patina. Feels great on!

A pair of vintage Tiffany & Co. 14K yellow gold double-faced cufflinks, the faces set with very fine reverse-carved Essex crystals depicting foxes. The designs are deeply carved and expertly painted in bright colors. The foxes’ mouths, particular, are very well done. The crystals are backed with mother-of-pearl. The connectors are marked “14K/Tiffany & Co.”

A very handsome pair of 18K yellow gold cufflinks, the square faces set with calibré cut blue sapphires in a raised frame. This Alexander Korda brooch is based on the movie "Thief of Bagdad" produced by Alexander Korda in the 1940s. It depicts a turbaned fortune teller holding a lucite crystal ball. This figure is made up of a silver plated metal that forms the fortune teller who wears a turban and robe decorated with crescent moons, stars, and other unique shapes. This figure holds a large center crystal ball that is made up of an amber colored lucite and measures 24mm in diameter...

We believe this lovely (unmarked but tested) 10kt gold jewel is from a time when cannetille work was the vogue because gold was scarce: very fine gold wires twisted into thin strands and then formed into rosettes and other shapes. The amethyst is a delicate shade of purple, and weighs approximately 2.5 carats – it’s very deep. (Amethysts are said to bring calm, and help banish headaches.) When I first saw these very old Margarita signed Vintage Mexican Silver Earrings I thought they were incredible and very special.
