Offered here are four Hector Aguilar bangles. Two are 990 silver with HA hallmarks from 1940-1945. One is hallmarked with the HA Sterling TB marks from 1943-1948. One is marked Taxco HA eagle assay 9. Each measures 2 1/2" in diameter. Total weight is 88.6 grams. All are collector quality. The 990 design is shown on p. 141 of Silver Masters of Mexico. You can wear two on each wrist or all four together - they look fabulous.

The perfect piece of jewelry for the summer beach season is this 14Kt yellow gold three dimensional flip-flops pendant/ charm, decorated by 10 round diamonds on the straps. The pendant measures 1” in length including the bail, and it is 3/8” wide.

I have a weakness for Italian silver jewelry and vanity pieces from the opening decades of the 20th c. and enameled compacts with figural decoration are a big favorite of mine. I admittedly don’t “powder my nose” yet these small treasures are worthy of being proudly displayed as miniature works of art. The richly-colored, very nicely detailed courting scene at the center of the compact at hand is a marvel in and of itself...

I am partial to long chain necklaces - irrespective of origin and style I am attracted to them and love to wear them. Provided, of course, they are older… The thick twist-rope example offered here is, I believe, a US-made piece; the hallmark looks familiar, I know I have encountered it before but right now I just can’t identify the maker...

A very rare pair of Victorian 14K gold bean-back cufflinks, the round faces depicting a young man and woman in Renaissance dress.
