This sterling silver pendant features a textured surface and is in the shape of an Asian-like symbol. It is marked 925 on the back, along with an unidentified mark. It measures 3 3/8 inches long by 1 ½ inches wide. Weight: 43.7 grams

Because he is a pearl in the rough, finish his look with a pair of biomorphic abalone blister pearl double sided cufflinks. In the Art Nouveau organic style, the shells are set in sterling silver, circa 1920's, marked STERLING. Size: 1/2" x 1/4". Very good condition. Shell on one side may have chip or may be original. A 10k white & yellow gold heart photo locket and chain. This unusual 3/4" wide heart shaped photo locket pendant comes complete with a 14k fine link chain. The locket is unusual in that it is white gold on one side and yellow gold on the other. Each side is divided with both glossy and matte finish areas and engraved stars. It opens to reveal a place for photos and it has one retaining bezel...

Ca 1960 A fabulous wide sterling cuff by Francisco Rebajes featuring a smooth gray banded agate stone encased in twisted wire. Marked Rebajes Sterling in one corner where there is a very slight/minor curl. There is also some light spotting and minor wear appropriate for its age. Please disregard the line showing up to the right of the stone. Width is 2-1/4"~ inner diameter 2-1/8". The stone measures 2" x 1-1/8".

William DeLillo never mass produced jewelry preferring to produce only what was ordered by his high end clientele. Along with Robert Clarke of Miriam Haskell, the House of DeLillo produced some fantastic pieces including this large brooch. It is impressive. The metal is rhodium plated. The outer edge is set with iridescent green glass navettes. A large green pear shaped stone also adorns this edge. Green and fuchsia chatons are set between the navettes...

A large pair of 18K yellow gold Sputnik earrings by H Stern. The domes are bezel-set with round amethysts, citrines, aquamarines, peridots, green tourmalines, pink tourmalines and garnets. The Sputnik design was created in the 1950’s to highlight the range of colored gemstones available from Stern’s Brazilian mines. It later came to be called “Sputnik” for its resemblance to the spiky Soviet satellite launched in 1957...

A very handsome pair of 18K yellow gold cufflinks, the faces formed from faceted rhodolite garnets of unusually large size centering old European cut diamonds. The purplish-red hue of the garnets contrasts beautifully with the gold mounting and the white diamonds (G, VS2). The backs are finished with toggles. The connectors are stamped with French marks for 18K gold and with the goldsmith's mark (entered in 1913) for the Parisian jeweler Leon Favrin.

Origin: France, ca. 1940...

An important, rare modernist brooch by the renowned African American jeweler, Art Smith. Has a copper ball caged in swirled brass coils. The ball moves for an interesting effect.

Measures 3 1/4" long and 2 3/8" at the widest. Marked with the 'Art Smith' script signature. Has a secure rollover clasp. In fine condition with areas of tarnish.

A wonderful example of Mid Century Modernist design.

Wonderfully designed hand made necklace by MAYA, Mexico, c.1950's after a Hubert Harmon design. Maya frequently copied Harmon designs. Looks just like silver with a great patina, but probably made of silver plate because there are no Mexican silver marks. The locking mechanism is separated from the main part by black velvet ribbon. Of large scale, the largest irregular square measures 2" wide by 1 3/4" high and the necklace measures 15 1/2" around...

Lovely vintage brooch by Mikimoto featuring five stunning pearls set in a triple arch of sterling silver. The pearls, graduating from 5 to 5.5 mm, are of the finest quality. The body color is white with an ivory overtone. The lustre is excellent. The back of the brooch is stamped with Mikimoto's hallmark and "S" for sterling.

This Cini sterling Zodiac Sagitarius pin is 2" square.

An extremely desirable pair of of Edwardian 14K yellow gold double-sided cufflinks set with reverse-carved Essex crystals depicting American birds, retailed by Abercrombie & Fitch. The faces have beautifully rendered depictions of a ruffed grouse, a sandpiper, a standing mallard duck, and a mallard duck in flight. Each of the birds is brilliantly colored and set against a mother-of-pearl background...

A very attractive pair of 14K white gold cufflinks, the arched faces featuring center rows of channel-set rectangular cut blue sapphires flanked on either side by a row of pave-set round brilliant diamonds. The sapphires have intense, medium-dark blue color and the diamonds are graded at G/H color with SI2 clarity...

This beautiful pendant is straight out of the Arts & Crafts movement; it’s very much in the style of Horner, but it’s unsigned. It is enameled in an intense blue with areas of a much lighter blue. The dropper shades from a pale green through a lighter blue into an intense blue, echoing the color of the main part of the pendant. The back is marked “sterling silver”, and the dropper is marked “silver”. It measures 1-3/8 x 1-3/16, and is on a modern 18” sterling chain...

These delicate earrings are from the late 19th century and test as 14kt gold, so they are likely American. Each is formed as a scalloped disc, decorated with a delicately engraved leaf. The screw backs were added later, possibly replacing kidney wires that allowed the discs to drop just below the ear lobe. One of the screw back bars is slightly bent, but secure. Each disc measures about 5/8 inch across. Weight: 4.6 grams total

A substantial sterling silver chain composed of doubled rings, bars and beads with connecting links; there is a central ring for attaching a pendant, or the chain can be worn as is. The secure box clasp bears what appears to be the maker’s mark of Beto, as pictured in Bille Hougart’s Mexican silver marks book, third edition, p. 27. The eagle 22 is the most legible mark; the others are not entirely clear. The chain measures 27 ½ inches long, unclasped. Weight: 38 grams

For those who view jewelry as works of art, here is a pin with strong sculptural elements, set with what looks to be a reddish-pink tourmaline, or rubellite. It features a quirky yet thoughtful construction, composed of a layered disc with an exposed middle area into which is set the irregular-shaped and polished stone with the matrix showing through the back. The stone is cleverly secured by curling silver wires. The back sports a rollover clasp in good working order...
