A pair of hammered sterling silver buckles by Edward H. Breese, who worked in Chicago from 1921-1940.

Measure 2" across and 1 3/4" high. Each one is marked on the back with the hallmark of EHB in a triangle and style number 126. They are also marked Sterling and Hand Wrought.

They are made from thick sterling and have a dark patina. Would make wonderful brooches.

Design 5161 is a Margot de Taxco masterpiece of beads and swirls. Hallmarked correctly as shown with a 100 gram weight showing off quality repousse and a generous 18 inch wearable length. The drop is constructed with 3 links which measures an expansive 7 in. It leads up the neck without intrusion to the sides of the neck. It makes a perfect silhouette and lays in a well thought out manner...

These modernist earrings feature polished, irregular-shaped composite turquoise drops attached to serpentine pieces of forged sterling silver wire, secured by curled ends. They hang from commercial screw backs that are marked (and test positively for) sterling silver and are in excellent working condition. The earrings measure approximately 2 1/4 in. long. They are otherwise unmarked.

The pendant is composed of three overlapping linked pieces of graduated size formed as rounded vertical elements with flattened tops and teardrop-shaped flattened ends. The pattern goes all the way around the bangle and appears to be random, giving it a quirky yet sophisticated look. It is marked sterling and dates around 1970 or earlier. The piece has a nice heft and feel on the wrist. It is 1/16 in. thick and 3/8 in. wide with an internal circumference of approximately 8 in. Weight: 36.4 grams

Simple, elegant modernist earrings of irregular-shaped panels by Frances Holmes Boothby, bezel-set with cabochons of dyed black onyx. They have very secure screw backs and are marked fhb on the reverse of one, sterling on the other, with sterling indicated on both of the screw backs. The stones are in excellent condition, with no scratches, nicks or other issues. The earrings measure approximately 3/4 in. long by 1/2 in. wide. Gross weight: 7.4 grams total

A vintage modernist sterling silver pendant by Elis Kauppi for Kupittaan Kulti Oy, Turku Finland. A three dimensional design with overlapping flowers.

Measures about 1 5/8" across and 1 7/8" high including the bale. In very nice condition with a dark patina, we did not polish it.

Marked with the Anvil, and 925S on one side of the bale and Finland on the other side. Fine example of Kauppi's work.

Dramatic & eye catching, this vintage 1950's onyx & sterling silver bracelet was designed by Taxco, Mexico artist Antonio Pineda. Weighing a hefty 149 grams the bracelet has a wearable length of 7 inches. Each link is 1 1/2" wide. The deep black stones are in fine condition & gleam in the light as the wrist moves. The thick 970 silver is also in excellent condition with minor surface wear. Slide clasp is tight & secure. Original safety chain attached. Fully hallmarked for the artist.

A tiny enameled violet and a free-hanging baroque freshwater pearl enhance the dainty 10K gold pendant, complete with a curb link chain. Violets were used to represent the sentiments of love and faithfulness in the Victorian era. The pearl has nice luster that contrasts prettily with the colors of the enamel. The chain is marked 10K, and the pendant is tested 10K.

Enrique Ledesma is famous for his stone to the silver inlays and remember this was before laser technology. In this necklace there is a large Agate with the bands ranging from browns to reds. Don't be afraid of the necklace band that goes around the neck as it does not flip up. There are two hinges on the sides and the curve is masterfully sculpted. This handmade wide band ring features a random design of molten drops on a textured surface. The irregular band shape has an upturned edge along the top, where the opposite edge comes to a rounded point. It bears the post-1967 Italian mark for silver, hallmarked for the city of Siena; the hallmark is double-struck, so the maker's number could read 722, 712 or something similar. The maker's signature is partially obscured, so that the first initial 'S.' is clear, as is the end of the name, 'gli.'...

The cuboids or rectangular blocks bear impressed, oxidized linear patterns on all sides, giving the piece a sense of depth.
