Fabulous long sterling earrings by American modernist Phyllis Jacobs, circa 1950s. Each earring has a single faux earring which moves freely along a bar. Each earring measures approx. 2" long. Signed "Phyllis sterling" and hallmarked as shown. Very good vintage condition. Screw-backs.

A substantial bracelet with a weight of 90 grams and no chips or damage to the silver. Part of the hallmark wraps under the clasp. You will see glare and areas with patina. Intricate sterling silver 3 panel bracelet designed and signed in the 1950's by Taxco, Mexico modernist designer Sigi Pineda. Measures 1 1/8 inch wide at the center front. A pair of modernist sterling silver clip earrings, #116 B designed in 1955 by Edvard Kindt-Larsen for Georg Jensen, Denmark. The B indicates that these are the larger examples.

Measure 1/2" across and 7/8" high. Marked Georg Jensen in a dotted oval, 925S Denmark and style 116 B. There is another very tiny hallmark on the end of each of the clips but we can't make them out. May be a U.K. import mark.

No need to have pierced ears, these are clips which hold securely...

A rare sterling silver bracelet with teardrop shaped bezel set amethyst cabochons from the workshops of Antonio Pineda in Taxco. In this version, the amethyst is completely encased in a sterling outer teardrop.

The bracelet measures 7 1/8" long and 1 1/4" wide. Has a secure box clasp. Marked with a partial Pineda Crown. Has some tarnish and minor signs of wear. The stones feel smooth with no chips or roughness. They have natural inclusions.

Beautiful deep purple stones...

Rosette-shaped, with extensive white metal wirework on the front. There is a secure C-clasp on the back, as well as a hinged bail for wearing as a pendant. The piece is probably Chinese. It is marked Hand Made on the back and measures 2 1/8 inches in diameter. Weight: 25.6 grams

This Julian brooch is 2 3/8" in diameter.

A modernist pair of dangle earrings by Winifred Mason Chenet. According to published reports Winifred Mason Chenet was an African American woman hand crafting jewelry in Greenwich Village. She worked with and trained Art Smith, a well respected African American modernist jeweler. She believed that each piece should be unique and distinctive. This 14Kt gold Retro band is alternating seven diamonds and seven rubies. The stylish openwork design decorated by cross-bars and petals all set with the alternating gems and completed with a rope like borders on each side. The approximate total weight of all rubies is 0.20Ct while the diamonds approximate total weight is 0.15Ct. The size 7 band that cannot be sized is 6.5 millimeters wide.
