His artistic style has been classified as "expressionistic" and "alive with gutsy realism." Mr. Rosenfeld was called "The Mayor of Tyson Street" because he began the regentrification process in Mt. Kathleens work has been seen and is featured in many embassies around the world including the state department. She’s an active artist still working with a very unique free style of painting
This work is oil pastel 20 x 24“ on paper framed and matted
An endearing small English or continental miniature of an attractive young woman with reddish-brown hair with a pearl clip, and wearing a blue and white gown with pearl decorations at the shoulders. The glazed reverse of the frame features hair in a basket weave pattern.
No condition issues to speak of. The length is 1 1/2" with a 1 1/4" width.
A very unusual painting that looks like a mix of Japanese Anime, the Big Eye School, and a Katy Perry video: oil on canvas, 24" by 18 1/2" on the stretchers, 28 1/2" by 22 1/4" as framed, signed at lower left by artist Christina Anthony. I do not see internet information on the artist, who was technically talented. The scene is a complete fantasy, with curling red and white striped candy canes, cupcakes, and lollypops lining a curving road. Most definitely a unique image...
A lovely highly impressionist oil on board painting of coffee pots and creamers on a table, apparently unsigned, and of vintage age, possibly 1930's or 1940's I believe. The work measures 14 1/2" by 15 1/4" (18" by 18 1/2" framed). On the reverse of the old board is written in old hand in pencil what appears as "Robert Swasey/327 Spring St./Portland Maine". I have looked for the name Robert Swasey in standard art search sites and have not located a known recognized painter by this name...
A PAIR of gold-framed, antique pastels of fruits, one a pear and grapes, the other peaches, apparently unsigned, but very much in the style of and possibly by the known late nineteenth century American pastel artist JOHN BOWER, who was known for precisely this kind of work. Each drawing measures 7 1/2" by 9 1/2", and frames are identical size at 13" by 15". Affixed to the frame reverse are typed labels proclaiming each to be "Unsigned"...

An antique floral watercolor painting of a bundle of cut snapdragons, 15 3/4" by 10 1/4" (24" by 18" framed), apparently unsigned and undated, but likely circa 1900. Condition is good, the work is clean.

Dominican Republic Artist RASCAL signed and framed A bad boy, Rascal was caught creating graffiti too many times, when a judge finally told him enough was enough and encouraged him to paint in earnest. Rascal responded with urban art, full of color and stories of his life. Each painting had meaning special to him and explained the joys of his life, his defeats in love lost and his life in the city. Art that was unlike anyone else’s, his...
