This is a work of American illustrator artist JAMES REYNOLDS (1896-1996). The imagery of flowers and leaves reminds of the work of American twentieth century artist Charles Burchfield. Reynolds is often confused in art auction records and biographies with western American contemporary artist James Reynolds.

Large, early charcoal drawing of a nineteenth century house in a leafy landscape, signed at lower right corner by listed American artist HIRAM HAROLD GREEN (1865-1930). 25" by 18 1/2" inside the mat, 34 1/4" by 27" framed.
