Warren Davis, American/New York, 1865-1927. This perfect painting is oil on canvas in its original frame. Signed verso and titled "The Ripple", it is the last oil painted by Davis in 1926-27, from the estate of his widow. It is in perfect condition with only a slight wave in the canvas which would easily be corrected by keying out the canvas. The back of the painting is intact with original paper and gallery sticker.
