Original pastel on paper by Vladimir Pavlosky (American, born in 1884 in Ukraine, died in 1944). This work is signed lower right. It is titled "Hillside" on a gallery label verso and dates circa 1925. Pavlosky was a Boston area artist who was inspired by Sargent and Homer. Provenance: Wharton Fine Art.
Original oil painting on canvas by Delos Palmer (USA, 1890-1960). This painting is signed lower right and appears to be dated 1946. Well framed and in excellent condition. Palmer studied with George Bellows at the Art Students League. He is known for his portraits and his illustration work (pulp fiction covers). He also worked on murals in Connecticut for the WPA Federal Arts Project. 25" by 21" in its frame.

Judith Shahn was Ben Shahn's daughter. She studied with her father and Moses Soyer. Her work appeared in the New Yorker Magazine, Harpers, The Nation, etc.

This is an original oil on canvas painting, signed and dated lower right, but we cannot make out who the artist was. This painting of Harbor Traffic is dated 1874. Possibly the work of Francis Silva. The painting measures 12X20 inches. We are calling this work 19th century American School. Nicely framed in a period gilt frame. Fine detail and color, this is an outstanding work of art.
