Original oil painting on panel by Robert Lohman (American, 1919-2001), offered in excellent original condition. This painting is currently unframed. It measures roughly 15" by 6". It is signed and dated 1960 l.l. Also signed, dated, and titled "Chanteuse, Singing Girl" on the verso. Robert Lohman is a well listed American painter and sculptor. A vintage oil on canvas painting of a river canyon of the west or Southwest, circa 1950's, good-sized at 24" by 32" (32" by 40" in the likely original old charming frame), signed at lower right by artist Charles Crowder. I do not see a "listed" artist name that would correspond. The work much resembles that of California impressionist landscape artist James Merriam (1880-1951). Condition is excellent.

Oil on canvasboard panel painting of a scene in the French Quarter of New Orleans, 19" by 8" (24 1/4" by 12 1/2" framed), signed at lower right with what appears as "Dettick" or "Derrick". This work was likely created for the lively tourist scene in the French Quarter in the 1960's or early 1970's. It has been suggested that the artist is one "Dick Nick", who has been an active participant in the New Orleans Jackson Square art scene from the 1960's. Condition is excellent.

Typed paper stapled to the reverse of the work reads “x515 Original English oil on panel - a floral still life of iris, peonies and delphiniums By Eva Wedlow”. A portrait of an elderly man is on the reverse of the panel. Eva Wedlow was a ‘flower society painter’ of the 1920’s, highly considered by aristocrats at the time.
