This is an unusually bright, saturated-color example of the MARC CHAGALL (1887-1985) lithograph "Romeo and Juliet", printed by Mourlot. This is a well known image by Chagall, created in 1964 for the ceiling of the Opera Garnier in Paris. Charles Sorlier in association with the famous lithography house Mourlot adapted this image from Chagall's sketches for the project and printed this. Measurements are 24 3/4" by 38 3/4". Daniel Tretiak chose to number this note 32, with no explanation of why there were no other notes between 28 and this one. In this note he focused on Poem J, a 1966 print that had just emerged (in 2019).

A very interesting and scarce double-page color lithograph print by the famous Spanish artist, JOAN MIRO (1893-1983), published in 1961 in "Derriere Le Miroir", measurements inside the mat 14 1/2" x 21", 21" by 27" as framed in metal frame. The perfect, classic addition to your contemporary interior. Condition seems to be very good overall, I note just a little browning, probably from tape residue showing from the reverse side, at very top and even less at very bottom...

For the Andrew Wyeth collector, a color collotype print "Arthur Cleveland", circa 1965, from a limited edition of only 100, **with INK SIGNED-by-the-artist label** affixed to the backing. The print measures 26" by 18 3/4" and frame is 1 1/2" wide on a side. This was acquired in Connecticut; the seller stated that it had been acquired from a Boston gallery in the 1960's by her parents, who had unfortunately trimmed off the margins to make it fit the frame. Happily they did retain the signature...
