This 1927 etching by the American artist Roland Clark measures 7 7/8 x 9 3/4 inches, pencil signed and titled. Roland Clark studied at The Art Students League with J. Carroll Beckwith in New York. An avid outdoorsman he combined his love of the outdoors into his many paintings and etchings. Selected to do the 1938 Federal Duck Stamp Design, he also wrote and illustrated books about his hunting experiences.

Rare oversize original etching by Frank Brangwyn (England-Wales, born in Belgium, 1867-1956) of Notre Dame De Paris. Signed in pencil by the artist lower right. This work is #231 in the Catalogue Raisonne, and dates from 1914. 22" by 29" etching alone, 35" by 42" in its period frame. Brangwyn is an important artist of the Arts and Crafts period.

Studio Antiques has found the original engraved copper printing plate of the “Capitol at Washington” done by Max Franke in 1892. We are offering a limited edition re-strike engraving of this print, handpulled from the original plate by master printmaker Roger Bailey. It will be limited to a numbered edition of only 350 and will not be republished...

This, like many of his research notes, was an addendum to his book, The Life and Works of Haku Maki, which he published in 2007. He wrote an Appendix to the book called Chasing Maki. It is his story of buying prints and collecting images of Maki prints. This research note, written 10 years later, is about one of his chases, a chase that failed. Dan wrote: Please enjoy.

Daniel Tretiak wrote about prints that were new to him (in 2017) that included, in my (LDT)view, one of the strangest, hard-to-decipher prints that the artist ever did, Bai-1. It was an early one, created in 1958.
