This incredible Clovis point, found on the Little Missouri River in Nevada County, Arkansas in 1928, is made from highly translucent novaculite of which only a few are known to exist. I had it authenticated at a forensic laboratory in Santa Fe New Mexico. The COA is included. The point is 3 1/2" long, 1" wide or 8.98 cm in length, 2.4 cm in width and 6.2 mm thick. The flaking on it is exquisite. There is no damage on it anywhere, a true G-10. There is no modern rechipping or restoration...

The body is composed of two phoenixes, the heads of the birds naturally forming the handles. The stone is very hard, green speckled with translucent white. The cover is also formed of 2 birds, it is not pierced so it is possible that it is not a censer, although it can be used without a cover. It is placed on a finely carved hardwood base. There are some numbers stamped inside, probably so as not to mix up the bases. China 20th century around the 70s. Good condition...
