This is an antique photograph of earlier days on Charlotte Street, in the very historic town of Saint Augustine, Florida (which dates to 1565). For a long time I suspected this was Saint Augustine but recently I saw another example of this photograph, and in the margin it was titled "Charlotte Street, Saint Augustine". Charlotte Street is a block in from the ocean front road, in the old center of the town...

Impressionistic oil on board painting of an early 20th century American house, probably in the Midwest as this was framed in Missouri, 11 1/2" by 15 1/2" (14" by 18" framed). The scene is one of tranquility and prosperity. The house would have probably dated to about 1920, but the painting is contemporary. The signature appears as possibly "Ursula Lee". This is ready for the wall.

By the hand of one of the masters of 20th century Japanese printmaking is this woodblock on paper, 14 1/4" by 19" (21 1/2 by 25 3/4" framed), signed in pencil at lower right by the artist within the image area, and bearing inscriptions in Japanese in the margin at lower left and lower right. The image is a traditional temple garden in winter, a light snow covering the lanterns and roof, and apparently wilted flowers killed by the cold unable to lift their heads...

Watercolor on paper painting of a vase and flowers, 14 3/4" by 11 1/4" (21" by 16 1/2" framed), signed at lower right "L. Hirsch" and dated there 1979. I do not think the artist is listed but he or she has displayed considerable talent in creating this decorative and attractive work. The frame shows a little wear but is presentable overall...

A French Poster that belonged to the actress Greer Garson. This was lent to the College of Santa Fe for exhibition when Garson appeared in the production of Madwoman of Chaillot. On the back Garson has written the information, shown in photo. Measures about 16 1/2" by 23 3/4", frame overall about 17 1/2" by 24 3/4". Appears to be attached to backing. Nice Art Nouveau Style and interesting provenance.
