Oil on canvas, 16" by 20", unframed, signed at lower right in red "SOON" and with artist's device, signed there "86", the subject a thatched roof village fronting low mountains, clothes hanging to dry in the breeze. This appear to be most likely Korean art, perhaps by a Korean-American, considering the American size stretcher. The name is common in Korea but I don't believe the artist is well known. The work is highly impressionistic and with a frame this will look even better...

An interesting Southwestern painting of a sunny courtyard in a Spanish-style building (church or mission) of the American Southwest---likely California, or Mexico---glimpsed through a grand old doorway, signed at lower right by artist Laurence McLaughlin. The 18" by 24" painting (26" by 31 1/2" framed) is not old (maybe 1970's or 1980's) but the traditional subject and technique could make it pass for an older work. Surprisingly I have not been able to locate a listed artist by this name...

Acrylic on canvas 15" by 19" (21 1/2" by 24 1/2" framed) painting of northeastern-style clapboard homes in late autumn season, a tiny figure and dog adding a charming touch, signed at lower right by artist BEN ROSEN. A beautifully executed painting on canvas of New Mexico Native American pottery pieces, (perhaps from the Zia Pueblo?), signed at lower left by artist "Angelika". The work, 20" by 24" (24 1/2" by 28 1/2" framed) is painted in a realistic style, so that the pots seem to be three dimensional. This is a highly decorative piece and will complement your Southwest interior. The frame is not especially complementary; a more appropriate one will enhance the presentation.

The watercolor is unsigned, 6" by 8 1/2", 10" by 13" as simply framed, the scene tall forest trees and distant mountains; there is either a stream or pathway in the foreground. I'd think it has some age, but probably not before about 1970. The artist was talented, and this will decorate a small wall nicely.
