19th Century Frame Miniature Painting Plaque of Couple and Angle Signed

The frame is 7.9 inches (20 cm) long by 8.9 inches (22.7 cm) wide. The plaque is about 4.1 inches (10.5 cm) long by 5.5 inches (14 cm) wide. It is 1.5 Lb.

The plaque is warped and has stains, cracks, surface wears and scratches, and uneven surface (as seen in the photos).

(Consignment). Portrait of President Franklin Delano Roosevelt, sign Silvio oil on canvas 22 x 20”, frame size 30” x 28”. The portrait was done on board a ship during World War II from life and is oil on canvas. According to the owner there was a competition by other shipmate artist to do a Portrait of FDR and this piece won the prize.

This is a puzzling piece; a print in colors, appears to be a lithograph, not an offset, measuring 13 1/4" by 9 1/8" inside the present mat (21 1/4" by 25 1/4" as framed). It is signed "Picasso" in the plate at lower right in the image and dated below that 21-6-20. I don't believe this is from the period, nor do I believe it is listed in a catalogue raisonne; rather, it appears to be some kind of later reproduction perhaps after a drawing or painting...
