From around 1980, this Ugo Correani necklace make quite a statement. The necklace is 25 1/2" (66.5 cm) long--opera length. The beads are 5/8" (2 cm) in diameter, and the decoration is 4 1/4" (11 cm) long and extends 1 3/4" (4.7 cm) on either side of the beads. It is signed U. CORREANI on the back of the clasp. A bit of punk madness from the house of Yves Saint Laurent. Blackened metal surrounds giant stones wrapped in black and dark brown leather. The necklace measures 16 1/8" (41.2 cm) not including the YSL metal hang tag at the tip. The front is 2 3/4" (7.5 cm) long. The largest center stone is 1 1/2: (4.1 cm) by 1 1/8" (3.1 cm). Made in France c1990. This witty Yves St Laurent necklace is in pristine condition.

Here is a collar-style necklace with a great modernist look by Ed Levin, who died in 2008. It is set with a cabochon amethyst, and made of a gilded metal. The result is a coppery finish; inside the collar is Levin’s name in script letters and ‘Bronze.’ The well-designed collar is quite comfortable and lies nicely at the base of the neck. It measures 3/8 inch at the front, its widest area, and about 14 inches inside circumference.
