Transparent, opalescent graduated lucite beads are strung on knotted red silk cord and have cast matte gold caps on either end of the larger beads. 43" (109.4 cm) long, the center front bead is a little over 1 1/4" (3.4 cm) in diameter. The smallest beads at the back are a hair over 1/2" (1.3 cm) in diameter. The necklace closes with a lobster clasp that attaches to a disc signed GFF on one side and FERRE Made in Italy on the other. A clean, spare band supports a dramatic architectural setting with scored edges, bearing a natural amethyst cut in a trapezoidal shape. The ring is in excellent condition, with no signs of wear to either the silver or the stone.
