We're not sure if it was done for Tiffany & Co, or earlier when she was designing jewelry for Halston. Made from natural resin and decorated with turquoise fresh water pearls and crystals, this signed purse by Maya, a contemporary American designer, is a treasure. The color of the purse swirls from amber into soft beige. It is lined with cloth and has part leather interior. Contemporary American designer Maya uses semi-precious stones and pearls in combination with molded resin and glass beads in her elegant design of this purse. Maya's plaque signature is on the back. Fun purse by Maya! It could be a miniature Gateway computer box with its cowhide look. Made of tree resin from the Philippines and with its chain adorned with pearls and crystals, it is a sassy little treasure. 7" wide, 5" high, 2" front to back. Chain 44". Beautiful and graceful is this natural resin purse by Maya. the base is frosted white. The birds, branches and leaves are heavily carved with surfaces in shimmering gold with burnt orange accents. The purse is carved both front and back. The gold metal chain has both semi-precious stones and crystals. Purse is 8 1/2" by 5" an 2 1/2" front to back. The chain is 44" end to end.
