The striking pearl and silver lizard pattern of this Maya purse suggests that it is made of lizard skin. Instead it is made of tree resin obtained especially by Maya for the creation of her beautiful purses. Maya adds to the lovely purse crystal nuggets and glass beads. One of Maya's most elegant creations, this purse is a gem. A charming purse design by Maya. Made of tree resin, it looks as if it is a combination of lizard and snake skin. The color combination is interesting and the resin is accented by copper metal. Note the sassy tassel and the elegant beads on the 44" chain that attaches to the purse. Purse is 6" high, 6 1/4" wide, 2" deep. Tassel is 5 1/2" long.

This Maya creation is not in her collection in this special pink color. It was ordered by Fantasy Jewels since so many of our customers like her pink and rose colored purses. So, this purse is special! The beautiful resin that composes it is enhanced by garnets, green garnets, and rhodonite chips. The purse is 6" wide, 5" high, and 2 1/2" deep. Maya began creating purses in 1985. Beautiful from the start, her purses have become more intricate and glamorous with each passing year. This purse is from her latest collection and shows butterfly, flower and dragonfly designs imbedded in the resin body of the purse. The surface displays hand carved flowers and a lovely dragonfly. 6" wide, 5 1/4" high and 2 1/2" front to back. The chain is antiqued metal with semi-precious stones and it 45 1/2" long.

Maya's purses are most unique, and this one is especially so. The elegantly hand carved peacock has "feathers" that wrap completely around the purse.
