Measuring a diminutive 4.50 inches long x 2.50 inches high, this very unusual tin and pot metal piece features a small black shoe shine boy with shoe polishing brush in hand, about to polish a giant ladies lace-up shoe!!

Rare Boti or vegetables cutter, like any good kitchen utensil this has a multipurpose function, as it can be used as a coconut scraper on the end of the hand forged blade. This one is circa late 19th century from Tamil Nadu. The end of the cutter has been made into the shape of a bird with “floral” patterns carved into t5he wood. Very rare painted metal figure of a black girl mounted on an alabaster base. The girl wears a yellow pinafore with blue trim, a blue hair bow, red socks, black Mary Janes, and carries a basket of flowers. The alabaster base has a slot to hold a place card. American, circa 1900. 2" tall. The alabaster has some nicks at the edges, but the figure is in very good condition.
