Having conceived of the revolutionary idea of a lithographed, molded-mask doll face in 1901, New Yorker, Albert Bruckner applied for and was awarded the patent for his idea that same year. All Bruckner dolls were then stamped, "PAT'D JULY 8th 1901" on the lower right neck edge.

From 1901-1924, Bruckner produced this original, 12" Topsy Turvy doll for Horsman's Babyland Rag Doll line that features Caucasian, "Betty", on one end and African American, "Topsy", on the other...

A rare hand signature on a photo card featuring English diminutive turn of the century era dance hall performer DAISY DORMER (1883-1947). In ink, she wrote "Yours Laughingly/Daisy Dormer". Prior to 1901 the slight, dark-haired performer was known as "Dainty Daisy Dimple". She had a pantomime career and performed in one silent movie, "Potted Pantomimes", with Lillian Russell. Later, in 1935, she performed in one talking picture, "City of Beautiful Nonsense"...

Circa 1900. Not often found Art Nouveau lady motif in a cheroot or cigar leather case. The lady is holding up a lily over her head and does not have the usual flowing hair, but what appears to be a bob with a fringe? So is that Art Deco? Early 20's? She is not quite nude, though her pelvic region is rather defined, but wearing a scoop neck, cap sleeve, long dress that hugs then flows around her feet. Where are the bosoms? Much confusion here.

A very attractive German made 9 x 5-3/4" gold plated brass mounted glass bead floral purse c1920. This purse has deep purple, black, blue, turquoise, green, light green, pink, lilac, red, amber and yellow beads with beaded fringe along the bottom. It has a brass chain and clasp and a yellow cloth interior. It is stamped GERMANY on the clasp and it is darker than our pictures and the beads include deep purple as well as black...

An Edwardian rose gold plated cheroot cutter pocket watch fob, circa 1910. This is a fully functioning small cigar cutter with a 9ct rose gold filled body and steel blade, originally worn on a gentleman's watch chain. The cutting mechanism towards the end of the cutter slides open. Measures approximately 1.5” long. Very good vintage condition with minor wear to plate. A collectible accessory for the cigar lover.

A Niagara Falls Scottie dog souvenir figurine from the 1910 1920 era. This 5-1/2" long and 3-7/8" tall cast pot metal (probably) figurine has an attached planchet depicting Niagara Falls N.Y. on it's back and the modelling and detail is quite fine. It has been painted gold (possibly not original) and it is unsigned. It is in excellent condition with no dents, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs other than a bit of paint wear on the plaque. The figurine is quite heavy and non-magnetic...
