Very nice lithographed tin penny toy in the form of a convertible sedan being driven by a chauffeur. The toy is completely original and is marked "Made In Germany". Circa 1930. Excellent condition, very light surface wear. 5" long.

A Royal Albert Crown China Dainty Dinah 7694A blue trim cup and saucer from the1930s. This cup has hand painted highlights, it is in the Avon shape and it has the backstamp in use from 1927-35. This 2-1/2" tall cup and matching 5-1/2" saucer are in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, crazing, damage or repairs other than a slight hint of gold wear on the handle...

The piece measures 12 1/2" by 9 1/2" inside the red mat and 21" by 17" framed. Bull was a prominent portrait and still photographer with the Hollywood studios, head of MGM's stills department for 40 years...

This delightful grouping of 3 black Aunt Jemima composition dolls from the 1930s enjoyed an interesting, more recent life as advertising display pieces in an old Vermont Country store!

The 3 dolls were grouped together in a creative display that supported the sale of Aunt Jemima Pancake products! Their costumes are all identical and were hand-stitched and made especially for the planned Aunt Jemima display.

Each of the dolls remain intact inside an encasement of glue and paper wrapping and ...

Items such as this were used as table decorations, but it’s also possible that they were filled with small candies through the hole in the bottom, then sealed with paper and given as party favors. The witch, with her pasty complexion, gaping mouth, and crossed eyes really looks more like a space alien than a traditional witch...

In the mid-1800's, an unknown artist painted the face of a young Black boy in warm, soft colors, and unbeknown to the artist, forever immortalized the young boy's image! Since that time a variety of items were been produced in the image of the "Young Black boy with the Torn Hat" or "Johnny Griffin".

This very scarce piece is very much reminiscent of Johnny Griffin items with the exception of the intact, broad-rimmed hat on this piece versus the torn rim typically seen on all "named" Johnny...

This charming grouping of THREE vintage, wooden, Black Railroad Porter and Mammy clothes brushes were all made in the 1930's by the Rhody Brush Company of Woonsocket, Rhode Island.

The two larger brushes have natural bristles, while the small red Mammy has solid red "plastic" brushes. They range in height from the Mammy at 6.5 inches and the Railroad Porter at 8 inches tall, to the smaller Mammy at 4.5 inches tall.

The two larger brushes are priced at $85 each...
