A tall, thin wood carving of a stylized human face, 15" by 3", possessing a great primitive vibe. This is a perfect decorative addition to that thin "problem" wall. I do not know in which part of Africa this may have been created. It is likely mid to late 20th century in age. A thin nylon thread remaining around the top will facilitate your hanging it from a nail or peg.
A circa early 1960's black and white photo of famous actress Leslie Caron (1931-), the actress appearing very young, with her famous sassy short haircut, inscribed at lower right in somewhat faded ink "Pour George Ghira/Souvenir de/Leslie Caron". The name of the recipient might be "Ghica", or even another variant---difficult to decipher. Caron of course is the actress known for "Gigi", "An American in Paris", and so forth...

Antique, Second Half of the 16th Century, circa 1570 A.D. from Renaissance period time, European halberd with a large steelhead with a sturdy and long spike of diamond-shaped cross-section, a robust crescentic axe-blade pierced by two groups of three dots, a downturned rear-fluke pierced with a group of five dots. There are worn-out marks on the middle rib of the halberd's head, which are probably the remains of the armor's mark (please see the seventh photo in the listing)...

This majolica strawberry server is a reproduction of the George Jones classic produced c. 1875. It features 2 parakeets atop a trellis eating berries. Vines, leaves, and berries wrap around the poles, with 2 buckets for cream and sugar.
Condition is Excellent. Dating is probably mid to late 20th C. Retail value for an authentic item is 6000-9000 dollars.

Very funny Halloween postcard featuring a cow scaring his milkmaid by wearing jack o'lanterns on his horns. The front is marked "Copyright 1909 by Julius Bien & Co., N.Y." Heavily embossed and very nice colors. Postmarked 1910.
Nice good condition, with light rounding at corners, a slight crease in the bottom quarter of the card, and a tiny tear (about 1/16") in one margin.
