Antique first half of the 19th century (Bourbon Restoration Period 1814-1830) French heavy cavalry (CUIRASSIER) breastplate armor (cuirass). The breastplate is formed of thick, heavy gauge steel with a projecting medial ridge forward over the down-turned basal flange and angular outward turns at the neck and arms openings.

Very nice vintage tin child’s sand pail decorated with a patriotic lithograph of an American eagle in red, white and blue. The patriotic theme is unusual. The pail is marked by Ohio Art. Circa 1940s.
