Condition; very good, though the corners are bruised.

I would guess it dates from the 1930’s.

The Karla Caves are a group of ancient Indian Buddhist rock-cut caves located in Karli near Lonavala, Maharashtra. The one pictured is the Great Chaitya. It was dedicated in 120 CE. This great gift set includes a crimson coloured leatherette case with a fitted plush interior, a 1991 postage stamp depicting the reissue of the 3 penny beaver stamp from 1851, a fancy 3 cent beaver medallion/coin with Queen Elizabeth on the obverse, a gold plated replica of the original stamp and a numbered certificate of authenticity all in a pictorial slipcase...
