Washington Irving. "Revised Edition Complete in One Volume." Published in 1887 by G.P. Putnam's Sons New York. The front features a gilt design on the black leather boards. This is a nice tight edition and smaller book that measures 4.25" x 6.50".

Possibly an unstated first edition. A beautifully illustrated copy in very good condition with red leather boards, embossed flowers and gilt highlights and gilt beveled edges. There is one small spot on the back board also on one page; a few pages have dog ear creases ( see photos).Song lyrics (no musical bars). Published in 1880 by John W. Lovell, New York.

This lot includes two Sotheby Parke Bernet NY auction catalogs. One is dated 10/2/75, the other 12/2/75. The latter auction includes English and Continental Pewter. Estimate lists are included in both; the December catalog has final prices written in and October has a final list price printed. Light wear.

Brown boards with embossed design on the front, spine and back. The spine has gilt lettering. Issues: the cover is a bit worn with fraying/wear at the corners and bottom; the back cover is loose from the book ( see photos). Illustrated however no artist is mentioned.

Published in 1990 by LUCORAL. Hard cover catalogue with dust jacket featuring the 1989-1990 collection. The company was formed 1963 by Ching-Shui Lu, Chairman of the Taiwan Pescadores Fisherman's Association. Jade, pearls, coral and other various gemstones, cloisonne items and watches are pictured along with costume jewelry. An early hard cover edition published by James R Osgood, 1875. Terracotta boards with gilt title imprinted on the spine and facsimile signature on the cover. On page 58 there is an error "interferred" for "interfered". Cocoa brown endpapers. The boards show light wear otherwise a nice tight copy.Poems.

Pages 257 thru 262 are creased with a tiny tear on the edge of the pages, otherwise a nice tight edition. Inscribed "Irma 1901" on the free front endpaper. First Edition(unstated) published in 1898 by Houghton Mifflin, Boston. Red cloth. The front endpaper has a small tear and there is a pinpoint nick on the text block edge otherwise a fine, tight copy. Very very light foxing,generally on the pastedown. 304 pp.

A first edition, second issue which includes the story Brown of Calaveras. Published in 1870 by Fields Osgood & Co. Boston. Issues: gilt lettering has faded on the boards which now appear light brown; the boards also show wear and staining, predominately on the back where the ends are worn, stained and chipped; the book is slightly cocked, there are gilt initials imprinted on brown front free endpaper, and there is light foxing. Sold as is.
