First edition/first printing with "A" noted along with the Scribner seal.The pages have toning, there is a name inscribed on the front free paper and also a note in pencil on the back paste down. An illustrated, collectible hard cover written by Zoe Kincaid and published by McMillan and Co. Numerous illustrations/photos with colorized frontispiece. There is slight water damage on the boards (spotting) and the pages are just a bit rippled. Also, there is a small bit of paper loss on the bottom of the front pastedown and free paper ( see photo), between pages 112-113 a very slight separation from the seam (but all intact) and page 383-4 is uncut- otherwise a fine edition...
