A miniature size hand written in Latin manuscript page, double sided, measuring 4 1/4" by 3", and 8 1/2" by 6 1/2" nicely framed, likely of religious content. Written neatly in brown ink with red capitals in places, much as would be seen in an antiphonal sheet. Condition of this little item, a survivor at many hundreds of years old, is excellent.

Map of the South American continent, titled "Amerique Meridionale", by Felix Delamarche, 1822. The map is on old type laid paper, and measures 12 3/4" by 16 3/4". There is a distinct plate mark and a central fold. The borders of Brazil, Peru, Chile, Patagonia and French Guyana are colored in green, yellow and blue. I do not know if the map is laid down, not having opened it up, but would be happy to do so upon request...

A motorcycle & sidecar tintype circa 1905 with a historic view. This scarce, very early photograph is on a late tintype (photo on treated metal blank) and this 2-3/8 x 1-5/8" (view area) image consists of a young motorcycle rider astride the bike with a rather concerned-looking grandma in the sidecar. Three other ladies stand behind her, and there is an Edmonson's Red Seal Toffee pail in the middle of the road (road hazards were a little different in those days...)...

Shachem (Nablous).” The photograph depicts trees in the foreground, a crumbling square stone tower, the city of Nablus and the hills beyond. It is mounted on tan paper. The image is 6 1/8 x 8 1/8 inches (15.5 x 20.5 cm) mounted in a 10 x 13 inches (25 x 33 cm) mat.

Condition: Good with small surface imperfections and a little discoloration along the left edge.

MAYO (1861-1939), one of the co-founders of the world-renowned Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. The circa 1920 photo is inscribed at bottom margin "To Dr. E. L. An albumen photograph of campers on the shore of Loch Hourn with their boat anchored off-shore and misty hills on the far side of the Loch. Loch Hourn is a sea loch. The campsite looks a little messy, though the tent looks good and the four men well dressed and fed. 7 ¼ x 11 3/8 inches (18.5 x 29 cm), with a 14 x 17 inch (35.7 x 43.3 cm) mat. Attached to backboard with T mount at the top and clear photo corners at the bottom.
