A Rare Stoneware Wine Flask (called a “Schraubflasche” in German), cylindrical with a pewter screw top, sloped shoulder and white glazed body with applied silvered decoration of a scrolling branch with leaves and berries. Silvered underglazed mark on base.

Williamson, published by John Lane The Bodley Head Limited London. This 11-1/4 x 9-1/2" book has 272 pages and it was issued in 1924 in a limited edition of only 1000 copies. It has numerous print plates in colour and black and white and it retains the original Kraft style paper outer wrap/dust jacket with a printed spine...

The book is in excellent condition with the exception of a small tear on the side of one page (see photo) and an inscription in pencil on the front free paper (where there is light foxing). The top pages are uncut. Blue boards with a gilt lettering and bands.

Washington Irving. "Revised Edition Complete in One Volume." Published in 1887 by G.P. Putnam's Sons New York. The front features a gilt design on the black leather boards. This is a nice tight edition and smaller book that measures 4.25" x 6.50".

Possibly an unstated first edition. A beautifully illustrated copy in very good condition with red leather boards, embossed flowers and gilt highlights and gilt beveled edges. There is one small spot on the back board also on one page; a few pages have dog ear creases ( see photos).Song lyrics (no musical bars). Published in 1880 by John W. Lovell, New York.
