Nice Art Deco brass cocktail shaker in the form of a wine bottle. The bottle separates at the shoulders to reveal the strainer and the lip of the bottle removes for pouring. The bottom of the shaker is indented just as a glass wine bottle is. We’ve had many figural cocktail shakers, but this is the first bottle we’ve had.

Origin: probably America, ca. 1935. Condition: untouched patina, a couple of ding nears the bottom edge and another at the shoulder...

A wonderful Mid Century Modern box by Salvador Teran in brass embellished with tiles in shades of blue, red, green, orange, black and white. Depicts a servant with a steaming bowl of food. Signed on the bottom, Hand Wrought, Salvador, Hecho en Mexico, 430. Box measures 5 5/8" long, 4" wide and 1 3/4" tall. Has some minor tarnish and one very small area of uneven finish. Tight hinge. High style.

Rare blue tile and brass footed pitcher of Mayan figure design by Salvador Teran, Mexico, c.1955. Handwrought and very heavy weight, the brass pitcher has a band of blue tiles going down the handle and around the center of the body with 6 brass Mayan figures. Measures 7" high by 5 1/4" diameter and is signed "HANDWROUGHT SALVADOR HECHO EN MEXICO 433". Pair of 24'' tall brass church candle holders with exceptional detailing featuring a cross on the base. This is an older pair, no later than first half of 20th century and quite heavy. They have been lacquered, so you don't need to polish them. They were lamped in the 1970's. and I purchased them as lamps 10 years ago and opted to use them as candleholders. They fit a 3" diameter column candle...

Famous, large and very heavy brass and tile hand wrought footed box showing HENS by Salvador Teran, Mexico, c.1952. Design shows 5 hens heads on top set in black tiles all around the box. The hinged inside is brass as is the bottom. The inside has a black patina which shows it has interacted with another material(see photo) but doesn't affect the integrity of the piece and could be removed. Box measures 8 1/4" long by 6" wide by 2" high...

As all Art Nouveau even in the button collecting area, that era is thinly represented. Seen in the BBB: 1 1/4" GIBSON GIRL Picture Button with flat back and 2 air vent openings for heated air escape when made. It takes a strong loupe to see very little brass showing through the silver between 11 & 12 O'Clock. Sold, no price, no info please.
