This porcelain demitasse set for 8 was produced in England by Royal Worcester in 1955. The mark contains the date cipher for that year. The set consists of a demitasse pot and 8 cups and saucers. The pot is 8 3/4 inches high and 6 1/2 inches from the spout to the handle. The cup is 2 1/4 inches high and the saucer has a diameter of 4 1/2 inches. The porcelain is bone china with an ivory hue. A pretty Art Deco cut glass perfume bottle with an intaglio stopper. The periwinkle blue body is cut in a diamond pattern, while the flat round stopper has lapidary cut edges and an intaglio four-leaf clover. The overall effect is very sweet. The flat base is acid-etched “Made in Czechoslovakia” inside an elongated oval.

Origin: Czechoslovakia, ca. 1920. Condition: excellent, no chips or cracks. Size: 3-3/4” tall.

This porcelain bowl was produced in Germany by Meissen in 1930. It has a diameter of 8 inches and a height of 3 1/4 inches. The fine hard paste porcelain is reticulated in a snowflake type pattern. The bowl features three dolphin shaped feet. The center of the bowl is hand painted with brightly colored fruit done in a realistic manner. The reticulated decoration is outlined with gold on the inside and outside of the bowl...

This porcelain and metal dresser box was produced in France by Tharaud Limoges before 1930. It has a double mark which signifies that the porcelain and the decoration were done in the factory. The box has a gilded metal frame and foot. We don't know what the metal is. It measures 5 1/4 inches across and 3 1/2 inches high. The decoration on the lid is bold and striking in the art deco manner. The stylized flowers and abstract lines melt and flow into each other...

This glass vase was produced in France in the 1920s. We attribute it to Daum Lorrain for its color and style. It is not signed. The vase is 12 3/4 inches high and the diameter of the opening is 5 3/4 inches. It is blown into a mold producing its art deco form. The base is thick and quite heavy. The vase draws gracefully upward from this point with the glass thinning significantly. The colors within the glass are iron red and mauve. They form a pattern with a marble like texture...

Exquisite Barovier bowl and pestle set profusely filled with an aventurine gold spiral pattern on the interior with an exterior thread of blue/green lattimo. The rim of the bowl has a scissor cut which lends a dramatic modern aesthetic to the form. It is unusual to find these sets together. This one is a beauty! It is 7"x2"h, in excellent condition, unmarked, but clearly Barovier.

An exciting example of mid-century Murano color and metal inclusions: cane, latticino, murrine, and aventurine gold are encased in a sumptuous, double scroll modern form. The base glass is clear, with the exterior of the piece marvered in amethyst chips that give the form a nice amethyst shade. The piece is 6.5x7.5x2.5"h, unmarked, in perfect condition

A convincing replica of a Peach done in the scavo technique. The peach has the Cenedese Made in Italy label attached and is in perfect condition

This porcelain cat was produced in Germany by Hutschenreuther in the 1950s. It is 5 inches high and 6 1/4 inches long. It is nicely modeled and hand painted. The cat almost looks like he is smiling. It is a cat with character and a great find for a cat collector. Condition: Excellent

Sculpted mid century bowl in sommerso with murrines, cane, and gold foil. The sommerso transition from the plum colored rim to the lattimo exterior allows considerable visual depth to the murrine arrangement. There is a small chip at the base that does not impact the integrity of the piece. 9"dia. x 2.5"h, unmarked

A fine example of Dino Martens' masterful use of the mezza filigrana technique on a modern interpretation of the platter form. The platter has a skillfully applied ring foot and remnants of its label. The piece is in excellent condition and is 11.25"x 3.5"h.

This Hobe sterling 14K vermeil floral bouquets of stemmed blooms entwined with ribbons and bows is made in the 1940s. It is 2 3/8" long by 1 5/8" tall x 3/4" deep. Marvelous detail.

Cute Little VENETIAN Early Murano OPALESCENT BLUE Art Glass Sweets Container with Pear Decoration and Prunts!!! Attributed to FRATELLI TOSO!!!
