Cute Little VENETIAN Early Murano OPALESCENT BLUE Art Glass Sweets Container with Pear Decoration and Prunts!!! Attributed to FRATELLI TOSO!!! The opal "Girasol" swirls throughout the body of the piece. For accuracy, i found a section of the blue trim has been broken and repaired (see photo 5). Hard to tell when displayed. German 800 silver wine trolly nef, ca 1920. A 3-mast galleon with billowing sales and complicated rigging. Gun ports open and cannons ready to fire. Lots of deck action, too with fighting swordsman and fallen sailors. Holds a special cargo because wood-style hull is a wine trolly. Figurehead spigot with threaded plug, and dolphin side mounts with rotating wheels for cruising across the table. Gives new meaning to the expression “getting sloshed”...

Dancing Nymph is the correct name for this Consolidated pattern - it's sometimes called "Dance of the Nudes" due to listings in depression glass books under that name. Made in 1928, it's a wonderful pattern for the deco collector as well as glass lovers. This is the footed sherbet in frosted crystal. Perfect condition. I have 4 available, price is per sherbet. European silver and enamel cigarette case, ca 1920. Rectangular, curved, and hinged. On cover, a horse’s head appears in an entryway, with two protective borzoi dogs standing guard. Stable drama against a semi-abstract background of brick and stone, and bluish ground. Gilt interior. Engraved monogram on back. Marked “900”. Very good condition with strong color.

A Dutch silver figural sugar sifter spoon from the 1920s. This 5-1/2" nicely detailed table serving spoon features a woman carrying two pails as the finial and the bowl is nicely pierced. It has an obscured maker's mark and a difficult to see sword mark on the join of the handle and bowl and it could date anywhere from the 1900s to the 1950s. It weighs 26.3 grams and it is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, dents, bends, corrosion, damage or repairs...

The 1920's and 30's was the age of the cocktail party, and the jewelry was characterized by vivid colors and sparkling diamonds. Cuban influences helped guide art deco design toward strong rectilinear geometry. This diamond ring is classic art deco. It is almost a full inch long and .5 inches deep at its widest. The platinum band has engraving.

This beautiful comport and liner plate was made by the Consolidated Glass Company as part of the Martele line. Designed by Reuben Haley, the piece was produced in the late 1920's. The pattern is called 'Iris', though it looks like wild roses to me.... The comport or mayo bowl is approximately 5 1/2 inches in diameter, the under plate is 7 inches in diameter. Hammered silver sugar tongs from Martin Mayer in Mainz, Germany, c 1920-30. Martin Mayer’s firm, founded 1888, was a well-known manufacturer of silver cutlery and jewelry until it was confiscated by the Nazis in 1938. Peter Behrens, Hans Christiansen and Patriz Huber are known to have worked for Martin Mayer. A Sterling Silver Hand Wrought Arts and Crafts Square Shaped Bowl or Dish, by Arthur Stone of Gardner, Massachusetts. The craftsman was either David Carlson (1909-1919) or Magnus Carlberg (1922-1932). Dimensions; 4.5" x 4.5" x 1.25" high, weight 5.5 Troy ounces. Excellent condition. There is a monogram "JBR" on the underside and the date Jan.15, 1944, presumably given as a gift at that later time.

This is a set of 10 crystal glasses that were made in Czechoslovakia in the 1920s. They are unmarked but the style and workmanship is similar to pieces from that area. They are 3 inches high and the mouth of the glass is 2 1/2 inches wide. They ring when tapped. We think they are cocktail glasses from the shape and size.
