There is an added inscritpion carved into one side recording that this item was given as a gift in Hong Kong in 1953. 1940’s French ormolu filigree gold gilt display box casket with putti, angels. An unusual shaped round casket that tapers down to rest on 4 delicate feet. Featuring pinkish amber beveled glass panels with 6 oval side panels flanked on each side with standing putti, arms raised. A nice larger size measuring 7.5” diameter x 5.25" high, it is in near perfect original condition with just few age spots on the lining.

A fine quality water pot for use on the scholars desk. The porcelain is very white and translucent. The fine blue art work shows two five toed dragons chasing the flaming pearl. There is a six character Guangxu Dynasty mark on the base, but it is not the mark used by the Royal Kiln. As the pot is not Imperial Ware we believe it was made during the Republic Period in Guangxu Style...

A mid century Chinese buffet finished in a striking patinated bronze over wood. A solid stone top was designed with a bull nose edge on all sides. The finish has a checkerboard style of look. Two pairs of doors with the left set opening to 5 drawers and the right set opening to a spacious storage area.
