This is a Cultural Revolution porcelain figurine of Norman Bethune. It is more finely made than most Cultural Revolution figures and shows the Canadian doctor leading a donkey. Set of three Chinese Qingbai celadon glaze bowls with incised design on the inside. The outside glazed the same, but left blank. The foot rims and bases as well as the top rims left unglazed.

Size: All bowls are approximately 6" diameter by 2-3/8" high

Condition: Two of the bowls are in good condition with the exception of some minor kiln imperfections due to firing. The third bowl has a rim crack and also a chip. Refer to pictures.
