Pair of Chinese over-glaze iron red bowls outlining a design of peonies and lotus heads among leafy vines on the white ground on the outside and similarly decorated on the inside. The base glazed white with an under-glaze blue six character Daoguang mark surrounded in double blue circles.

Antique Chinese porcelain waterpot handpainted in famille rose enamels on a white ground with peonies and prunus flowers with butterflies flying above. Glazed in white on the inside as well as the base. On the base is a four character Qianlong mark in overglaze blue surrounded by double borders.

A Chinese export famille rose wall vase, featuring a poem and a Mandarin lady with her children. The inside and the back is glazed in turquoise blue. The rims are dressed in gilt. On the recessed base, there is a six character Qianlong mark in iron red.

An antique green glazed porcelain bottle vase with the glaze stopping just below the top rim revealing an all over ge-type crackle with dark grey (iron wire) and gold (golden thread) crackle. The base rim unglazed with the base revealing the same ge-type crackle. Unmarked.

A pair of Chinese yellow glazed porcelain ogee shaped bowls with incised design on both the inner and outer rim. The center is with an incised design of a lotus bloom. The base glazed in the same yellow with a six character Hongzhi script mark. On the base of each bowl there is a Jian Ding seal.

Tea bowl, thinly potted with apricots on leafy branches surrounding the cup on a white ground. The inside left bare. The top rim done in gilt. The bottom rim decorated with an additional gilt circle bordered in iron red. The base with Guangxu six character mark in iron red.
Purchased as an Imperial Mark and Period

Pair of cylinder cases, thinly potted with narrow necks and feet painted in mirror image with birds perched among flowering prunus plants. Accented red hand drawn borders at the rims and base of each vase with a poem on the opposite side.
On the base of each is a red overglaze seal of Liu Yucen.
Condition: On one of the vases, there is the remnants of a Jianding export seal. Next to this seal is a glaze crack, most likely from trying to remove the seal...
Well hollowed, the glass of varied strawberry and milky tones colour, well carved in the form of a mallow flower. Complete with a jade and agate stopper.

Condition: There is a scratch/shallow surface crack at the bottom base.

This Cultural Revolution porcelain plate from Jingdezhen is decorated with an original image by the artist Liu Haihe depicting a family as the centre of revolutionary commitment. It is very skillfully and carefully painted. This plate was created during the cultural revolution and it has a mark of “Jingdezhen Art Porcelain Factory Committee” at the base.
Liu Haihe (1927-) was born in Jingdezhen. He first studied art (porcelain and painting) when he was 13...
Antique Chinese fine famille rose porcelain vase with landscape of mountains and lake. The vase is an elegant shape with defined calligraphy. This style of decoration was popular in the 1930s. The base bears the studio name: Yitao Zhai, similar in style to the Society of Eight Friends. Produced by Zhang Zhitang (1893-1971). It measures 14" tall x 6.5" wide.
