Sui - Tang Dynasty Painted Terracotta Soldier Tomb offering figure. Museum quality c 7th c molded soldier figure standing with his hands on top of his sword. The paint original and unrestored, no chips or damage other then scuffs. The figure shows dendrite deposits throughout. Size 11.5" by 3.5" by 3.25"

Chinese Straw-Glazed Figure of a Tomb Guardian, Sui - Tang Dynasty , the standing figure of a soldier in full armor, helmet, breastplate and tunic, with one hand raised to his chest (at one time holding a spear), the other at his waist, under a straw-colored glaze, h. 14".

Rare Chinese Tang - Sui Dynasty 7th c Terracotta Soldier with a tall shield. The figure undamaged unrestored with original paint and extensive dendrite deposits. A wonderful large piece. Size 11" by 3.25" by 4" .

Tang Dynasty painted Terracotta figure of a Court Lady , beautiful piece well molded and traces of its original paint. There is no apparent damage but one tip of hair . Collected in the 1920s by a Canadian French Railroad construction engineer. There is an old label in Chinese on the back . There is a piece of tissue in the base so the dirt doesn't come out. Size h 11.5" w almost 2.5" at the hair. Note the neck has NOT been broken!

Han Dynasty Red Terracotta Painted Seated Dog with Harness, traces of red white black and yellow paint , no restoration or breaks . The tail is missing it would have been another material. Size 8.25" by 8"

The large earthenware female figure wearing long robe with traces of paint . The figure has an open side from when the artisan finished the figure and cut off too much clay in the trimming process. No damage or restoration h. 13.75" w 4" . Very rare this large. Intact. This came from a 1920s collection of a French Canadian engineer doing rail road work in China at the time.

Museum quality Tang Dynasty model of a recumbent ram. Beautifully sculpted with extensive traces of white paint. Undamaged and solid pottery . 4.5" by 2.5" by 3.5" high.

Unique Chinese yixing teapot with rondels of marbled clay surrounding the teapot and on the cover. The spout and the handle are modelled in a bamboo design with a pig finial on the lid. There is a four character impressed mark on the base, as well as a different four character impressed mark on the underside of the lid.

Age: Purchased as an antique teapot. Actual age is not known

Condition: Good condition. Evidence of use.

This is a pumpkin-shaped teapot made of Yixing clay with a very smooth texture. The lid has a finial simulating a stalk, while the handle and the spout are meticulously modelled in the form of a stem. On the body near the handle side there is a moulding of tendrils, in relief form, of leave and flower. On the underside of the base is the potter's signature, "Chen Mingyuan" is inscribed. Also, on the inner side of the cover, there is another seal mark bearing his name, “Mingyuan”...

Primitive Han Dynasty Pottery tomb stove Model with molded patterns and cooking utensils on top. Condition is good no damage has some root marks underneath . Size 10.5" 7.5" by 4" age unknown

Antique Chinese Liao style Amber Glazed Urns with white clay body. Nice pair of matching urns with faux ribbon molding going down each side and an incised flower pattern on the center of each the foot has exposed white clay body. There is a chip to one rim and one foot . Possibly period Liao . Size 10.5" by 7"

A nicely made Shiwan Pottery figure with the original wood stand from the Republic Period. The figure is in excellent condition, there is one leg missed from the wood stand. Approximately 6-1/2" at its widest point; 5-3/4" high without stand.

Charming Ceramic Clay Garden Elephant. Elephant is green with blue variations on saddle sitting on Elephant's back. Saddle also has a floral design with cream lining and provides a flat top for ideal placement of garden plant. Beautifully aged, this elephant has a playful countenance, with trunk curled to one side and leaf like tale resting against back side. Gorgeous vintage pottery replica of a sui dynasty tomb horse. Horse has a commanding and powerful presence as if going off to battle in a fiery. Standing on a rectangular base, with three legs planted, and one slightly lifted, giving motion and life to the piece. The face and body are both fierce and expressive yet modeling a poised and elegant arched neck. The overall look of the horse is extremely pleasing to the eye and decorative.

A Chinese stone figure of a lady of the court done in Sancai glaze colours of yellow, blue and brown. She is standing holding a bowl with her left hand, her long flowing dress tied in the center with a long ribbon. Her hair is pinned up. Her face left unpainted.
