Four Zohiko lacquer plates. Colorful leaf decoration sparsely applied on black ground with almost iridescent effect with gold and silver maki-e and red details. Zohiko marks in gold lacquer on the flat bottoms without foot rims. 20th century. Very good condition with only light rubbing on the bottoms (likely easily polished out by a professional.) 20th century. Diameters 7 3/4 inches (19.685 cm). Incredible Indo/Persian watercolor and gouache painting depicting Mugal Emperor in period custom dress. Size: the item is 11 x 7 inches with the sight itself has a dimension of 5 x 3 inches, in very good condition.

This is a stunner; a piece exemplifying the style of this incredible artist! Radical black florals decorate the rich iron sides of the bowl, tapering ever so slightly closed toward the top to help trap the aroma of the green tea within. Imagine the color contrast of dark earth-tones with the foamy maccha inside! It comes enclosed in a fine kiri-wood box endorsed by Kawai Koha, current head of the Kawai Kanjiro Museum...

Wonderfully carved wooden Lanna Tiger, the hole in the mouth means this could be worn as amulet or placed on an altar. On the bottom is a lightly incised spiral glyph underneath the base indicate this was meant to be protect the owner. Bear in mind that amulets are very popular in Thailand and most are mass produced in either as terra cotta tablet or cast in metal- this is a one of a kind piece. H: 7.5cm/3in and W: 4.8cm/1.9in.

Set of 6 (1930's) Chinese Sterling Silver Tea Cup & Saucer with Melon & Butterfly Marked

The dish is 0.6 inch (1.5 cm) tall by 2.95 inches (7.5 cm) wide. The cup is 1.4 inches (3.5 cm) tall by 2.5 inches (6.4 cm) wide. The total weight is 369 gram.

They have tarnished silver and surface scratches. One cup has minor bent at the side. Two of the cups have bent at the bottom (as seen in the photos).

This is an attractive cloisonne vase from Ando. The enamel work and shading are finely done. The form and colors are rare. The vase stands 6 inches tall. There is a bit of hard to see crazing. This can be seen in the images and actually shows up more in the image than in person. It was made with silver rims and was probably made in the 1930's. This is a very nice display piece.

Colonial Teak and Brass Campagne Letter box, with fitted interior compartments . The center section lifts out . Large and heavy at 18 pounds . Hard to find these with such a nice interior. the one loss is the front brass corner but a back corner could be moved to the front so its not noticable. Size 18" by 10" by 12" and 18 pounds.

Unusual vintage Japanese glass scholar’s brush rest with transparent body and beautiful white and blue stripes in the core. Very well made, in great condition except for a few small chipped areas as seen on photos, very pleasant to handle. Length 3.42 inches.
