A Chinese Yixing Teapot. Length approximately 19.8 cm and height approximately 11 cm. The teapot has few chips at the cover. Good condition.
Two types of masks: At First Mesa, a white case mask with beak, owl wings in place of ears. At Second and Third Mesas. a case mask covered with rabbit fur, "horns" of jackrabbit tails, beak. Fox skin ruff. Kilt, sash, fox skin, buckskin over back. White body paint. Carries a bow and a yucca whip. Appears in Mixed Kachina Dance, or in an ordinary kachina dance where he spies on the clowns...

A large Plate by Living National Treasure Hamada Shoji enclosed in the original signed wooden box titled Mori-sara. Splashes of black supplant the rich red Mashiko glaze. It is 12 inches (31.5 cm) diameter and in fine condition.
Hamada Shoji was born in Tokyo, and enrolled in the Tokyo Technical University at the age of 19. In 1918 he met the important British potter Bernard Leach, and the history of ceramic arts was forever changed...

Chinese Scholar’s two-tier solid rosewood stand with carved boxwood edges. Produced in the 1950s, this is actually a copy of a 17th - early 18th century style that was made of zitan and edged in boxwood. A strong stand that will hold your heaviest object, the pieces were machine made with rough carvings, hand assembled (pegged and glued), and then hand finished and polished. In excellent condition, the stand measures 12” long x 7.25" wide x 4” high.
Chinese Tang Dynasty Red Terracotta Tomb Figure of a Fat court figure, the red clay rubs off at the touch and retains some of its original slip coloring. Size H 7.5" and unbroken.
This well carved stone laughing Buddha is 3 ¼” high (with wood base is 5” high), 4 ¾” wide and 2” in depth. It depicts a laughing Buddha (Budai in Chinese; Hotei in Japanese) comfortably leaning on his ever present cloth sack. His left hand holds a ruyi scepter; his right hand holds a gold nugget. A young boy is resting on the Buddha’s right knee. Aside from natural blemishes on the back of the statue and two crack lines in the wood base, it is in great condition.
Exquisite dochu hand hammered copper flower vase from the famed Gyokusendo Foundry in Niigata Prefecture of Japan. Showa Period C.1960. Loveyl drip glaze in relief and in perfect condition. Old wooden gate bar that was actually used at a certain Korean private house in early 20th century. approx. 5.5 x 7 x 37cm (2.16 x 2.75 x 14.56in) each. Stick (2.2 x 27cm (0.86 x 10.62in)) was attached in the later years...
Kashigata (wooden sweet mold,) Sakura (Cherry Blossom) motif; Japan, early 20th C. Paddle-type mold to make 2 pieces sweets. L.14.25"(36cm) x W.3.5"(8.75cm) x H. 0.75"(2cm.) The cherry blossom is a well-known symbol of spring, beauty, and the fleeting nature of life in Japanese culture. Most likely, these molds were used for sweets in the spring season.
Sweet molds, “kashigata,” have been a part of confectionary culture around the world...

Chinese vintage belt hook carved in the form of a dragon's head curled to face a crouching chimera with scrolling vines in his jaws. On top of the chimera's back is a bat and coin representing good fortune. The jadeite is very beautiful in color and ranges from a pale, almost white starting at the head of the dragon and gradates to a bright orange color with a steak of bright green in the center.
