Beautiful hand painted (dyed) iris on soft 100 percent silk. Some designs are dyed to be matched for the wider width. This is probably from mid Showa, 40 to 60 years old, no color loss. The spots and the design that run sideway are part of the woven design. Full roll and good quality silk. I will get the measurement.

Vintage Japanese uchikake (wedding kimono) crafted from heavy woven and embroidered silk brocade fabric with extensive gilt thread in a dense pattern of flowers and peacocks. Mid-20th century. The lining is fine red silk. Very good overall condition with only minor wear at the bottom corners where the lining meets the brocade. Measures about 73" in length by about 50" across. Tsugaru kogin kimono made of vegetable indigo dye hemp whose warps and wefts are hand plied. It is made in Tsugaru region in Aomori prefecture in Tohoku district. Kogin-sashi is one kind of needlework (sashiko), stitches with white cotton yarn go horizontally and make geometrical patterns. Pair of Chinese cloisonne baluster vases with matching covers. Designed all over with fish swimming among lotus pods and other foilage on a white background. Ruyi shoulder design. The insides are enamelled in a dark blue. The rims and bases in copper. The covers designed the same with the same blue enamel on the inside.
Condition: These are in good overall condition. There is some slight wear to the enamels...

Rare Japanese Zenibako or coin box used by merchants and shop keepers the coins would be dropped through the hole on the top the front has hand forged iron loops and pulls for locks, no locks included. Wonderful old lacquer finish showing countless years of use. Great as a hole coin box for all the change.
