Japanese framed woodblock print by artist Hasui Kawase (1883-1957), depicting a lake with boats and rainfall. In the foreground is a romantic scene in which a man sits with his face in his hands, a red bouquet of flowers beside him, watching a woman holding a blue parasol who stands gazing back. Markings include Hasui's red chop and signature, publisher seals in left margin, titled in right margin.

Ivory Crest was only produced by Fenton Glass Company for one year, 1940 -1941, making it one of the scarcer crest patterns. Offered here is a pair of #951 cornucopia candlesticks. A silver spoon, the shape of traditional Russian type with a long handle and egg-shaped gilt bowl, the modernist pattern pointing towards the 1960’s. Russian (Soviet era) hallmark 875 with star and Cyrillic B plus another mark with the letters B and Yu. Weight 38 grams, length "6½/ 16,5 cm. Condition: a few scratch marks to the bowl.

Intricate Chinese enameled silver dish with a pierced ground decorated with an enameled phoenix, a dragon and flowers modeled in high relief. Stamped, "S925". 6"Dia., Circa - Early 20th C. Great condition.

This charming covered jar in translucent yellow glass is topped with an opaque yellow pear with green leaf. Made in the 1890s by Salviati. The body of the jar and lid are ribbed and have a lovely iridescence. The bottom of the base has multi-point pontil marks. It stands 6"high by 4" diameter. A similar fruit-topped lid is shown in Carol Osbourne's "Venetian Glass of the 1890s: Salviati at Stanford University" P. 126, Plate 137. The piece is in excellent condition.

This pretty green Cherry Blossom depression glass 4 1/4 Inch high Pattern At Top (PAT) Flat Water Tumbler was made by Jeannette Glass from 1930 to 1939. Vintage Chinese sculpture of a resting horse with its head raised and turned back, carved out of solid amethyst. Beautiful stone ranging from typical amethyst purple to rock crystal transparent, natural lines in the material. Very good quality carving capturing the essence of the creature, excellent finish, very pleasant to hold. Length 2.85 inches.

Wood spoon, its handle finely carved in the shape of a standing female figurine. Nice age patina. Ifugao tribes, Northern Luzon Island, Philippines archipelago. Height: 18 cm. The spoon is nicely mounted on a custom stand. Very good condition. Provenance: Zemanek Munster tribal art auction sale # 77.

Although this pattern was officially named 'Sylvan' by Federal Glass Company, it has always been referred to by the collector's name, Parrot. It was produced for only one year, 1931-2, and is scarce today. Offered here is the 10 inch oval serving bowl in amber. Elegant Japanese bronze art deco vase with scalloped lip from the 1930s. The vase has 8 faces that start as an octagon at the base and rise up to a bulbous form. Unmarked vase. It measures 16.25" tall 6.5" wide at top.

Fine decorative fan featuring two white rabbits under the gleam of the moon. The sumptuous gold background is producing a shimmering effect. Rabbit is often appeared in East Asian folklore as a messenger from the moon, where it is seen pounding in a mortar and pestle...

DESCRIPTION: A pair of porcelain figures, each a representation of Li T'ieh-kuai, one of the Chinese eight immortals. Li T'ieh-kuai is always represented as a lame beggar leaning on a crutch with a pilgrim's gourd in hand. The Eight Immortals are legendary beings of the Taoist sect who attained immortality and dwell in the remote hills and mountains of China. Both of these figures date from C. 1900, with the larger one's inner base stamped with "China" in red ink...
