Kokeshi, wooden folk toy of NE Japan. Height: 8.5". This is an example of the "Naruko-kei" tradition of Miyagi Prefecture. The artisan, Akiyama Tadaichi, was born in Meiji 34 (1901) and passed away on May 19th, 1984 (Showa 59.) This mid 20th century Japanese cloisonné vase is 7 ¼” high and 3” on the widest part. It depicts a finch resting on a branch of a peony tree. It is in excellent condition.

This is an intaglio cut crystal Hawkes water goblet (partial Hawkes signature visible), ca. 1920, in the Gravic Fruit pattern, with luscious, acid-etched and frosted plums, apples, and pears suspended from beautifully incised branches; with a knopped stem and square incised foot. Feels weighty and wonderful to the touch. Hawkes’ intaglio glass was known as Gravic Glass. Condition: excellent. Measurement: 7 _ in. h.

As all Art Nouveau even in the button collecting area, that era is thinly represented. This is a very fine pair of sterling silver asparagus tongs in the Buttercup pattern made by Gorham in the Victorian style, reticulated with chasing on the handles, marked "Gorham Sterling", measures 9 in long; excellent condition.

The Teapot (Number A2412 and 1 3/8 pints) measures 6" high x 10.5" wide and weighs 14.6 Troy ounces. The coffeepot (Number A2411 and 1 3/4 pints) measures 8" high and 10" wide and weighs 17.3 Troy ounces. There is a monogram on each. In excellent condition.
Lovely continental porcelain oyster plates in three different colors; each in perfect condition; measures 9 1/2" diameter; one with pink center, one with blue center, and one with teal center; only markings on back are a raised star. This started out as a set of 12, and I have several left in stock.
This beautiful brilliant bowl seems to be unsigned, but it is truly beautiful and extremely heavy. There is one tiny flake at the top of one of the teeth. It measures 9" in diameter.
Stunning cut glass compote from the brilliant period. I can't find a signature, but I'm sure its identifiable to an expert on patterns. It measures 8" tall x 6" diameter at the bottom, and has a tear drop stem. There is one TINY flake at the top, but other than that it looks to be in perfect condition.
