This lovely Orchid decanter (#5025) features Heisey's crystal clear glass and its very popular upside down orchid and bows. This decanter is fitted with a sterling silver stopper that is marked and its in excellent condition. It is cased glass - a rich mulberry-lavender and bright white striped body sitting on a broad, round crystal foot. It does have several bubbles around the rim at the tip of each purple stripe. This lovely candlestick features Hiesey's very popular upside-down Orchids and bows. The Orchid pattern was produced between 1940 and 1957, and this one still bears its foil Heisey label. The taper will fit in the deep hole of the flared and knobbed candle holder. It measures 4 3/4" across the foot and stands 3 3/4" high. This lovely is in excellent, unused condition. This is a large piece at 8 1/4" tall (compared to the usual 3" pieces). Really bright colors with feathered design. Truly an amazing piece! For accuracy, it has 1 open bubble on the bottom foot, as well as impact marks and cracks to the glass around the foot, but NO missing pieces to it...

Vertical wheel cuts alternate around the rim. This vintage piece may be by Imperial Glass, but I am just not sure. Three full-size motifs surround the optic bowl - stylized flaming compotes with with uplifting feathery leaves holding drop flower buds... quite dramatic. The stem (#15011) is a lovely honey-amber fluted pedestal and nob on a broad amber foot. It stands 7 7/8" tall and is in excellent, unused condition. Production date 1930.
